Blake walked super fast. “Just follow me. I promise you’ll have the time of your life.”

Sylvara didn’t see any fun at all. All she saw was the little strawberry-shaped ruby swinging on the back of Blake’s head.
They left the Mordrel Estate.
Right after they stepped out, the front gates got sealed off with an official notice.
Blake forcefully shoved Sylvara into a military aircraft.
The aircraft took off.
On all sides, two small warships flew next to them.
Sylvara looked out the window and saw the small jets were fully armed-real weapons, not for show.
With this setup, if Blake ran into danger, they could literally fire missiles right away.
Sylvara called out, “Rotten mom, you travel with this level of protection now?”
Is this the standard for a high general?
Or was it the standard for an empress?
She had to admit, she was basically a 3,000-year-old fossil who’d never seen anything like this.
Blake was swiping through her optical computer without even looking up. “This is nothing. If you like it—”
“I don’t like it.” Sylvara interrupted quickly. “Thanks for the offer, but I’m good!”
Traveling like this was basically saying, “Hey, assassins, I’m right here! Come kill me!”
Blake logged into the official account for the Chief Prosecutor. She posted the news about the Mordrel Estate being raided and shut down.
She publicly listed that Kyre and Seraphine tried to harm the princess consort, and that they stole her property. She also posted that Miralys tried to cheat to change her military training score.
As soon as she posted it, it was pushed to the #1 trending spot on the Starnet, with a big “BREAKING” tag.
The whole internet exploded.
Star Network users were losing their minds in the comments. [The Princess Consort married Agares even though he has zero fertility value. That’s true love! The Mordrels trying to hurt her is unforgivable.]
[Exactly! I heard she has no physical power and no mental power, but she still went to the Fifth Military Academy to follow in his footsteps. Why should a love like that be targeted for murder?]
[They need to be punished! If not, I’m giving up on love and the Supreme Court forever!]
Blake scrolled through the comments, a satisfied glint flashing in her violet eyes. She loved seeing her plan working.

Chapter 255 A 3,000-year-old Fossil
Sylvara caught that look. “Rotten Mom, what kind of treable are you planning now?”
Blake glanced at her sideways. “Does beating you up count?”
Sylvara grinned, copying her usual cocky tone. “It counts, but only if you can beat me. Want to go somewhere and settle it?”

I’ll beat her until she shows her true form. I have to see what kind of creature can be on top and lay eggs at the same
time.
Blake rolled her eyes and gave up with zero shame. “I can’t beat you. I surrender. Happy?”
Sylvara choked on her own breath. “What happened to your pride?”
Blake shrugged, super calm. “I don’t have any!”
Sylvara took a deep breath and cursed her in her heart.
She considered using force…
Then looked at the warships around the aircraft.
Forget it. I’d get blasted.
Time for the soft approach.
She scooted closer and nudged Blake with her elbow. “Hey, rotten mom, just tell me what species you are. I promise I’ll keep it secret. No one will know.”
Blake shifted away and slapped the spot where Sylvara’s elbow touched her. “Baby, we agreed not to dig into each other. Why are you bringing that up again?”
Sylvara blinked innocently. “We agreed to that?”
Blake shot back, “Didn’t we? Fine, then you tell me. What are you?”
I’m an ancient human.
Your ancestor.
Sylvara thought, then realized that didn’t make sense.
She was an ancient human, but she couldn’t lay eggs.
So there was no way she was the ancestor of this non-human female entity.
“Okay, fine. Let’s stop digging.” Sylvara sat back down. Se reached under her stomach, pulled out Eggy, and waved it right in front of Blake’s face. “Once I hatch Egg, I’ll know exactly what species my good kid is.”
It didn’t matter what kind of weird species Blake was. Once the egg cracked open, the truth would be out.
