The emblem in Blake’s hand was Relos’s personal sigil. To see the emblem was to see the emperor himself.
Anyone who carried this emblem could act in the emperor’s place. In other words, the young woman standing there in a beautiful gown, mocked by the Elder Council as nothing more than eye candy, was attending the meeting as the emperor’s representative.
While she exercised that authority, she was part of the royal house.
Any disrespect shown to her was disrespect to the royal family.
Blake stood up. Her combat boots struck the floor with a sharp, clear sound. She looked down at Anry from above. “Elder Anry,” Blake said coldly, “I gave you a chance. I warned you. You didn’t learn. Don’t blame me for what comes next.”
Anry’s whole body jolted. Fear flooded her eyes.
At that moment, ten aircraft descended outside.
Members of the Supreme Court arrived, along with officers from the police force.
Anry’s chest heaved. She dropped flat to the ground and pressed her hands together toward Sylvara. “Please forgive me,” she begged. “This is my fault. I’m willing to compensate you privately for emotional distress, for insult and harm.”
Such a small Throne Dragon Emblem, but its power was overwhelming.
Borrowing power to bully others was never Sylvara’s style.
She lifted a hand and touched the emblem on her head. Then she glanced sideways at Anry, who was begging her and trembling on the floor. “Elder Anry,” Sylvara said calmly, “Whether you are a civilian, a noble, or someone like you who holds high office, all of you must follow imperial law.
“You and the Elder Council’s guards insulted me and harmed me. You want to settle this in private?” She shook her head slightly. “No. I prefer fairness. I want a full investigation and a lawful verdict.”
Anry’s face turned as white as paper. Her body shook violently. “Your Royal Highness,” she cried, “please give me a chance. I’m willing to serve you and do anything for you!”
“Did you
hear that?” Blake said. She tapped her optical computer and spoke to the deputy chief prosecutor from the Supreme Court. “Elder Anry is attempting to bribe a member of the royal family to escape punishment.”

“Yes, General Kenobia,” the deputy prosecutor replied firmly. “Elder Anry, Chief Elder of the Elder Council, has attempted to resolve this privately through bribery in order to evade charges of insult, fabrication, and framing of a royal representative. We all heard it ourselves and can submit joint testimony.”
He paused, then looked down at Anry. “Elder Anry, the Central Supreme Court is formally placing you under arrest. If you resist, you will be executed on the spot.”
Anry lay on the ground, shaking uncontrollably.
Her mind was racing.
This had all been a trap.
A trap Blake set to stop the military budget from being cut.
He brought his daughter here on purpose.
And since Blake had given the emblem to his daughter, it meant only one thing.
She was here to speak and act for the emperor himself.
Blake, that snake, did it on purpose. He didn’t place the emblem on his daughter where everyone could see it. Instead, he hid it inside a spatial button.
The Elder Council guards insulted her.
He had readily recorded everything.
He is also live-streaming it online.
This wasn’t just a livestream. He was quietly steering public opinion, pushing both the Elder Council and Anry straight into the spotlight.
She finally understood.
Now, she had snapped out of it.
It was too late to fight back.
Under Supreme Court authority, anyone who resisted-no matter their status-could be executed on the spot.
Anry was lifted off the ground by officers and dragged away. At the same time, they forwarded and secured the full recording Blake had prepared.

Soon after, members of the Elder Council surrounded Sylvara and Blake. They escorted them inside with forced courtesy.
Sylvara, still holding onto Blake’s arm, gave it a small tug. She lowered her voice and asked curiously, “Daddy, what is that thing on my head? How did it scare the Chief Elder so badly her legs nearly gave out?”
Blake tightened her arm slightly. Her eyes stayed forward. She didn’t answer her question directly. Instead, she sighed. “I’m not afraid of thugs who know how to fight,” he said calmly. “I’m afraid of thugs who are educated. Sweetheart, you need to study Empire law well.”
He paused, then added with a hint of pride, “The way you quoted Empire law today-very impressive. You had my style from back when I used to argue my way through everything. Cool as hell.”
Sylvara shot him a sharp look. “So you’re saying you studied Empire law just to find loopholes so you can legally take people down?”
Blake immediately corrected her, “Hey now, don’t say that. Daddy won’t like it if you put it that way. Daddy’s not in good health anymore. I can’t fight or kill my way through battles. I’m stuck in this small space, surrounded by enemies on all sides.”
He continued smoothly, “I just raise the banner of the law to protect my interests. After all, I had sacrificed my body for the Empire. I’m covered in injuries now. All I can do is fight with words and barely hang on.”
Yeah, right. You think I believe that.
Sylvara complained silently in her head.
She studied law.
She became the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme Court. Not for justice. She did this to perfectly avoid breaking the law herself and caught others when they did.
Then, she would blow their mistakes out of proportion, turn them into criminal cases and civil cases, and finally stand before the public and say, with a straight face, “Everything was done according to Empire law.”
