“As General Kenobia, whether I’m clean or corrupted is not for you to decide,” Blake said. A sharp smile tugged at her lips. Light flashed through her violet eyes, striking Ozark hard. “I welcome a full review from every branch of the Empire and from the public. While you’re busy worrying about me, you’d better use the next 30 minutes to clean up your mess.”
She paused, her voice calm but cold. “If you don’t, and the charges stick, your seat as a councilor will be taken by someone else. Think carefully.”
With that, Blake left without looking back. Sylvara and the military officials followed her out.
Half an hour later, Blake posted a public statement on her Starnet account.
She announced the launch of a public oversight review.
She opened all her account records since the day she enlisted, allowing anyone to check the source of every dollar. She also opened a full review of all property held under her name and identities.
At the same time, the citizens were allowed to review the same information. Any adult citizen could check the listed accounts and see where the money came from.
That move lit up Starnet like fireworks.
Users couldn’t stop themselves.
Everyone wanted to know how much wealth Blake really had. How many properties and how many assets?
When they checked, they froze. Their national idol’s mentor had no house, no car, and no private plane. Blake’s registered address was the Imperial Palace. Her bank balance showed only 5,200 stellar coins.
Starnet exploded.
Blake had crushed bandits, trained a legendary commander, and once guarded Kolar planet. No house. No car. Just 5,200 stellar coins.
She might be the poorest General Kenobia in history.
And then something even stranger happened: to keep Blake from looking so poor, Starnet users began doing the unthinkable. They started donating money to her. Small amounts added up fast.
The comments were even wilder. “General Kenobia is a man I kept now. Nobody fights me for

“I didn’t donate much, but I’m still the woman behind General Kenobia.”
“General Kenobia, look at me! I’ll support you. I don’t need a title.”
“What a bastard!” Ozark cursed as he read the updates on Starnet. The officers from the Anti- Corruption Division in front of him jumped in surprise. “Councilor Wright,” one of them said coldly, “please remove your optical device and cooperate with our investigation.”
“I am a councilor. You have no right to take my optical device.” He refused. Once he handed it over, he knew he would lose control.
Once he fell into a passive position, Blake could quietly finish him off.
After all, Blake’s sister was one of the Chief Prosecutors of the Supreme Court.
If even the smallest flaw was found, bribes, favors, and illegal gains would be useless; what awaited him would be endless suspension, investigation, and final judgment.
The Anti-Corruption Division officers drew their weapons and aimed them at Ozark. “Sorry, Councilor Ozark. Everyone present today must accept investigation. If you resist, we will treat it as confirmed corruption and bribery.”
“Blake, you’re not even human,” Ozark spat.
Sylvara was sitting in the highest-end restaurant on Centria Planet. She lifted her gaze from her holo-screen and looked at Blake, who was smiling far too happily across from her.
“You’re really not human,” she said flatly. Blake’s smile faded slightly. He tapped his holo- screen, exiting the chat window with Relos. “Even if I were human,” he replied calmly, “you’ve never treated me like one.”
“Then take this chance and tell me what species you really are,” Sylvara grinned. “At least let me prepare myself.”
Blake’s purple eyes shimmered with light. “You’re brave. You don’t need preparation.”
Sylvara rolled her eyes. “You really know how to kill a conversation. I’m done talking. I’m ordering food.”
“Go ahead,” Blake said generously, sliding the menu toward her. “Order as much as you want. Daddy’s paying.” He tapped the table casually. “This place claims to have the best food in the entire Empire. Fresh, natural ingredients. Top-tier.”
“Really? Then I have to taste it properly.” Sylvara opened the menu. The first page was all signature dishes: lemon chicken, honey-glazed BBQ ribs, sautéed seasonal greens, slow-braised
