Sylvara shook the small spray bottle. “How did you spot him? Which detail gave him away? Tell
me.”
Blake rubbed her chin, looking like a shady old man deep in thought. “No explanation needed. The first time you saw him, didn’t you already think he looked like your husband?
“Now go rest. When the clock hits midnight, Daddy’s taking you to see Cryo Planet’s nightlife!”
Nightlife?
Was Blake always this wild?
How did Relos put up
with her?
Sylvara went back to her room and used the bathroom.
She dozed off for about an hour before Blake woke her up.
The moment she opened the door, she saw Blake had changed clothes. Blake was now wearing a loud floral shirt and oversized dark sunglasses. The sleeves were rolled up to her elbows, and a colorful tattoo peeked out from her arm.
Before Sylvara could say anything, Blake tossed her a dress.
Sylvara held it up against herself. “Daddy, am I supposed to show this much skin?”
It was sexy. Backless. Deep V-neck. Low cut. Sleeveless. Thin straps. Puffy skirt.
They were going to an auction house. To buy things. But this felt more like getting dressed for a nightclub.
Blake pulled the door open. “Hurry up and change. Daddy will wait outside.”
The door closed.
Sylvara froze for a second.
She truly couldn’t guess what this troublemaker was planning. Why take her out dressed like
this?
She put on the dress and opened the door again. The skirt ended about four inches above her knees. Her thighs showed when she walked. If she sat down, it would definitely be risky.

Blake looked her over from head to toe and nodded. “Beautiful. With that dress and that face, anyone who sees you will want to put a price on you.”
Sylvara forced a fake smile. “Thank you, Daddy, for all your hard work. When someone offers enough money, I’ll go with them.”
There was no way she believed they were just going out for fun.
Blake was clearly up to something again.
“Let’s go.” Blake held out her arm. “My little princess.”
Sylvara rolled her eyes but hooked her arm through Blake’s. Together, they left the room and stepped into the elevator.
Blake scanned a card. The elevator dropped fast and stopped at Basement Level 10.
The doors slid open.
Two male attendants waited at the entrance. They wore heavy smoky eye makeup and held scanners in their hands. Their fingers curved delicately as they spoke in soft, sweet voices. “Welcome, honored guests, to Endbloom House. Please present your room card.”
Blake held up the card between her fingers.
The attendants scanned it. Their smiles grew wider, even more polished and charming. “Honored
guests, this way please.”
Blake casually used the card to lift one attendant’s chin and said with a teasing grin, “Thanks.”
Sylvara felt a wave of goosebumps rise all over her skin. Blake was really asking for trouble.
Flirting with people now?
The attendant whose chin had just been lifted showed a shy smile. “You’re welcome. My name is Candi,” he said softly. “If you need anything, you can call me. If you don’t know the way to the auction tomorrow, you can call me too. I’ll guide you.”
A grown man named Candi?
Why not call himself Candy Pop while he’s at it?
“That won’t do,” Blake said calmly. “My date would get jealous.” She glanced sideways at Sylvara, then looked back at that attendant she flirted with. “See you.”
That attendant glanced at Sylvara before leaving,
