The Alpha's Chubby Obsession. novel Chapter 123

Chapter 116

Aina

Ever since my mom returned from Clara’s, something about her has changed completely She’s brighter now, more alive somehow. There’s a light in her eyes that I haven’t seen in years, and she’s always smiling, like whatever had been weighing her down is finally gone.

I really do like this new version of my mom. She’s lighter, happier-almost glowing. I don’t know

what happened over at Clara’s, but whatever it was, it’s for the best.

But as much as I’m happy for her, I’ve got my own problem-Osborne. My husband is a complete workaholic. I want my man back, not the Alpha who’s always buried in meetings, papers, and/ endless pack duties. He’s always traveling, and every time I complain, he just says, “I’m sorry, I

promise to make it up to you.”

I know he’s busy, I really do. Being Alpha isn’t easy. But still, would it kill him to give me a little bit of

his time?

It’s been two weeks since we last made love, and it’s driving me crazy. He’s always off somewhere,

and to make things worse, Alex decided to take a break-meaning all the workload has doubled for

Osborne. No wonder we barely see each other anymore.

I know he misses me too, but duty always comes first for him. I understand that… but my body

doesn’t. I’m on the verge of going into heat, and I just wish he was here right now.

“Mama!” my daughter’s voice called out, pulling me from my thoughts. I turned my head and

looked at her, her round cheeks puffed adorably as she stood there pouting.

“Hello, my little angel. What’s wrong?” I asked softly.

“Dada, Mommy! Dada!” she said, her little voice almost scolding.

That did it. I couldn’t help but smile, even though my heart ached. “You know what? That’s it,” I

muttered, reaching for my phone. “I’m calling Osborne and telling him to come home. His daughter

and I miss him way too much.”

The moment I dialed his number, he picked up almost instantly-like he’d been waiting for my call.

“Hello, sugar plum. I’ve missed you,” Osborne’s deep voice came through the line, warm and

teasing.

And just like that, all the scolding I’d prepared vanished from my head as if it was never there. I cleared my throat, trying to sound firm, even though my heart had already melted.

“Well, if you missed me so much, why didn’t you call?” I asked, keeping my tone soft but deliberate. “I was waiting for your call… and so was Alina. She says she misses her dada-that’s actually why I

called.”

I could hear the tired smile in his voice as he let out a quiet sigh. “I know, babe. I’m sorry. I’ve just been swamped, but I promise, I’ll be back in two days’ time. I swear it.”

I nodded, even though he couldn’t see me, a faint smile tugging at my lips. “You better, I

murmured, my voice barely above a whisper.

“Anyway,” I said softly, trying not to sound too needy, “I know you’re busy, Osborne… but please,

take it easy, okay?”

He chuckled lightly, that deep familiar sound that always managed to calm me. “Okay, sugar plum,

I will,” he replied in a soft tone, his voice tender and sincere.

“I’ll give the phone to Alina,” I said with a smile. “Before she loses it” he laughed then “oh please do

miss her too, my child”.

I handed the phone to my daughter, and her whole face lit up with excitement. “Dada!” she squealed into the phone, grinning from ear to ear. I couldn’t help but chuckle, watching her twirl a strand of her hair while talking to her father. She truly adored him, it was written all over her little

face.

I sat back down, sipping the last of my afternoon tea as their sweet exchange filled the room. Moments later, Alina came skipping back, handing me the phone with a huge smile before running

off to play.

I brought the phone back to my ear. “Okay, I’ve got to go now,” Osborne said, his voice soft but

distant.

I sighed quietly. “Alright,” I murmured. “I love you.”

“I love you too, Aina,” he replied, his tone dropping playfully. “And when I get back… I’m going to fuck you senseless, you got that?” His voice was low and husky.

My cheeks flushed instantly. “Oh, please,” I muttered, embarrassed and laughing softly.

His warm laugh echoed through the line, mingling with mine, before we finally hung up.

I sighed softly, staring at the silent phone in my hand. A heavy warmth spread through my chest, the kind that always came after talking to him. I was really going to miss him, my husband, my

mate, my everything.

No matter how much I tried to distract myself, it never got easier when he was gone. The house felt quieter, the nights colder, and the bed too big without him beside me. Even his scent on the

Clay

I ran my fingers through my hair, exhaling slowly. “Come home soon, Osborne,” I whispered to no one in particular, my heart aching with the kind of longing that only love could cause.
