“Well this whole situation just got even more ominous.” Alpha Watson says and I totally agree with him.
“But wait a minute, I thought witches had no problem accessing the other side, I mean isn’t that how they connected with their ancestors? So why exactly do they need a whole bloody ritual to bring back some witch?” I ask him and he gets this impressed look on his face.
“That is a very good question Alpha Bowers, you see the first witch, her name was Venya, she couldn’t be killed, she was just too strong, so the witches weakened her and they trapped her on the other side, she has her own very comfy prison over there.” He tells me.
“Wait a minute, so the witches did this to her, why?” I ask him.
“Because like I said, witches are nature’s servants and Venya had gone very far from nature, she was practicing blood magic, dark magic, she was as far from nature as she possibly could and
my head. the witches had to put a stop to it.” He explains and I nod
“So she was way to powerful to be killed so the trapped her in a prison on the other side?” I ask him.
“That is correct.” He tells me.
“So I guess my question is why now and why here?” I ask him.
“It might have to do with the fact that the oldest werewolf packs are settled here and maybe there’s a lay line here, I don’t know, I’m not a witch.” He says.
“Yeah, I was hoping that we would be able to stop all of this without their help but I’m seeing now that won’t be possible.” I tell him and everyone groans as they nod their heads.
The relationship between werewolves and witches is virtually non existent right now.
“They might not want to help but they don’t have a choice, they know that this affects them too.” Alpha Thomas says and I look at him and he’s not looking too good, Natalie needs to see
him soon.
“Ok I guess I’m going to have to arrange a meeting with Kataleya.” I tell them and Alpha Watson laughs.
“Better you than me.” He says and I just shake
my
head.

“Do you know what exactly is needed for this ritual Alpha Killian? Because I don’t understand why they just keep killing people, it’s like they don’t know what they are doing.” I tell him and he nods his head.
“You might be right about that, it’s like they’re scrambling and just hoping to get the right result. I have a vague idea but I know that blood is needed and a whole lot of it, I’m going to have to go back to that diary, but Kataleya should now better.” He tells me.
“Ok then.” I really didn’t want to see Kataleya, but I guess I didn’t have a choice in the matter.
“So we still going to move on with your plan Alpha Bowers?” Alpha Watson asks me.
“Yes we are, even if it means slowing down whoever is behind this, then it’s a start.”
NATALIE.
I wrapped up the meeting with Ross and he told me he would update me once he found something, I was so giddy with excitement and I couldn’t wait to get back to the house and tell Samuel all about it.
I caught myself and I just allowed it, I allowed myself to be happy because I deserved it.
I even stopped by a restaurant and I picked up a bucket of fried chicken, two pepperoni and beef pizzas and then two huge bottles of soda for us and the kids.
I know seeing that amount of junk food is going to shock him and I can’t wait to see the look on his face.
I drove back down to the house and I made my way to the kitchen first and the kids were there.
“Mummy!!” All four of them screamed as they ran towards me and hugged my legs and I couldn’t help the tears that welled up in my eyes. This is exactly what I’ve always dreamed of and its now real.
“Hi my loves, how was your day?” I ask them as Gavin takes the bags with the food from my
hands.
They were all talking ontop of each other bit somehow I was able to understand them.
“Well it sounds like you had fun with Gavin. Where’s your dad?” I ask them.
“He’s in his office.” Clayton tells me.
“He’s in a mood.” Franklin adds.

Shit, that must mean that his meeting with the other Alpha’s didn’t go to well.
“How about you guys help Gavin with the food, I’ll go get your dad.” I tell them and then I walk out of the kitchen and make my way to his office. I knock once and when he doesn’t answer, I still open the door and step in.
He looks up and I can see the look of shock on his face.
“You look rough, how long have you been in here?” I ask him and he smiles a little.
“Not too long.” He says.
“The kids say that you’re in a mood, the meeting with the other Alpha’s didn’t go too well?” I ask him and he sighs as he gets up from his chair and makes his way over to me.
He wraps his hands around my waist and pulls me close until I’m flush against him, then he leans down and he takes my lips.
He kisses me and I kiss him back instead of asking him questions because this is clearly what he needs right now.
He finally pulls back and leans his head against mine.
“So it was that bad?” I ask him and he groans which in turn makes me laugh.
“It was both good and bad.” He says as he raises his head up.
“So what’s the bad news?” I ask him.
“The bad news is that this whole thing is more big and even more sinister than we first presumed.” He says.
Well, that doesn’t sound good.
