“This ritual is old and ancient and very dangerous, I mean it took a whole coven to put down Venya, Kataleya says.

“So on a scale of one to catastrophic, how worried should we be if she gets out?” I ask her.

“Your scale should be more than catastrophic, Venya is the most powerful witch to walk the earth and she has been imprisoned for centuries, if they do get her out, she is going to be angry as fuck and the first people she’s going to come for are the witches.” She explains to me.

I’m about to say that’s good for the wolves but I bite my tongue.

“So, back to my first question, what exactly is needed for this ritual?” I ask her.

“Well first you need blood from the twelve oldest and strongest werewolf bloodline, you need a celestial event, which mean like a full moon, a blood moon, a comet, things like that, the ritual has to be done on the same grounds that it was done the first time, then you need a binding agent, this is rare, like extremely rare, it’s something that happens or occurs once a century and it’s never the same thing twice.” She says and the last thing has me stumped.

“Can you elaborate on the binding agent?” I ask her.

“Like I said it’s rare, for example the blood of a unicorn or the scales of a dragon or blood from a doppelganger it can be a lot of things, a lot of rare things.” She says and then she looks at me like I’m supposed to know what she’s talking about.

“Well since it’s so rare, where do we find one of those?” I ask her.

“Stop acting like you don’t know, I mean you have it.” She snaps at me.

“Not again with this same talk Kataleya, I didn’t steal anything that belonged to the witches.” I snap right back at her.

“Are you still going to keep on lying? I mean we are dealing with the possible annihilation of our species and you still choose to lie?” She snaps right back at me.

“Guys, this isn’t helping I think you both need to calm down.” Natalie tries to diffuse the situation but I’ve had enough.

“This is the last time I’m going to say this Kataleya, you’re a powerful witch and I know you can sense when someone is lying so I need you to hear my words. I didn’t take anything that belongs to the witches.” I tell her and she just glares at me and then she lets out a sigh.

“By Hecate, you are telling the truth, which means you might not even know that you have it.” She says

and now I’m confused.

“What are you talking about?” I ask her.

I look at Natalie and she nods her head and I take her hand in mine because I can sense her fear.

“The only thing that fits into that timeline that I got six years ago, are our children.” I tell her and for the first time I see her shocked.

“Your children, that’s the twins?” She asks me.

“Yes, but actually they’re quadruplets.” I tell her and she looks so shocked, it’s almost comical and I would laugh if the situation weren’t so serious.

“Quads? I mean it makes sense, you are from one of the oldest werewolf bloodlines Alpha Bowers, what about you Natalie?” She asks.

“My father is Alpha Thomas of Moon Shadow Pack.” She tells her.

“What about your mother?” She asks Natalie.

“She was a rogue.” Natalie tells her and she frowns her face.

“What was her name?” Kataleya asks her.

“Her name was Morana Edmund.” Natalie tells her and Kataleya still has that frown on her face like she’s trying to figure something out.

“Morana Edmund, I have heard that name before.” She murmurs under her breath.

“Yes, that’s it. Natalie was your mother a healer?” Kataleya asks.

“Yes she was, my grandfather too, I come from a long line of healers.” Natalie tells her and she smiles.

“It all makes sense now.” Kataleya says.

“You care to clue us in as to what is happening?” I ask her.

“That’s not possible, I mean I would know if I was a witch” Natalie tells her.

“I didn’t say you were a witch Natalic, your ancestor was Maric Ar’Sanin, she got married to an Alpha who stepped down from his role as Alpha to be with her, that’s how your mothers people became rogues. Now you can’t perform any spells but her blood still runs in your veins, you two come from powerful bloodlines and now your kids are the most powerful beings on the earth as of this moment.”
