The Alpha’s Nanny (Lori and Gabriel) novel Chapter 213

Chapter 213

“That’s where Siobhan comes in. She’s going to come up with some sort of magical instrument that will drive you crazy. The kind of crazy that would hopefully have you going on a rampage where you be one very violent.”

“You see Siobhan is renowned for this. She has tested this formula on wolves, vampires, it even works on some demons!! But never your kind so she’s happy

to try.”

Astra went pale. Pale and sick in the mouth.

Sabine leaned, close to Astras ears and whispered.

“You’re our first nephilim test subject.”

“The final product will be tested on that bitch Lori.”

*********

She had been training in the underground, yet never thought to check the cells that were currently holding Vara and Lyle.

Lyle she did not want to see. She still couldn’t bare to look at him.

But Vara… she had to see her.

Lori had snuck out of her training room when Myra went out to attend an errand. She had given her a task but Lori couldn’t concentrate and got tired

easily.

She had grown increasingly nervous when Gabriel had told her about the alpha’s summit. She had to attend… and from what Gabriel told her, if Sabine was

really spreading rumors against her she had to do something.

She had to be in complete control of her self. And her being. She had to go back to being the old harmless Lori, just to make sure there wouldn’t be any matters arising.

Vara’s cell was the last. At the end of the hallway. In front of the cell, Vara barely shifted. It was either she was too weak to lift up her head and see what she was doing or she had truly passed out.

Her cell was clean. A bit. Draco had once remarked that she rarely ate her meals, and if she did she was extremely picky about it.

She was sitting in the floor, her palms to her hair and she looked deep in thoughts.

“Why did you kill him?!”

Lori asked and Vara barely flinched as she raised her head slowly.

“I’ve killed many people…”

She croaked and Lori shook her head.

“But you didn’t have to kill him! He did nothing wrong.”

Chapter 213

True. True she didn’t have to and the guilt would be in her heart forever.

“He was in my way…”

“He wasn’t harming you… you know that…”

Vara shrugged. Lori turned her nose at the stench of Vara wafted towards her.

She smelled like wet dirty dog.

“Did Sabine send you?”

Vara chuckled.

“And what does it matter if she does? I was merely carrying out orders.”

“Elliot… he interfered. He wasn’t part of the plan but he was my way.”

It wasn’t the words she was expecting. She was expecting some sort of apology. But Vara has offered her none. In fact… Lori thought she even sounded a bit too smug.

“And my son? Do you know where Sabine took him?”

The woman shook her head.

“I could free you. Do you know that?… all you’d have to do is give her location.”

“I will never betray my Alpha.”

Vara replied.

“And where has that blind loyalty gotten you to?”

Lori snapped.

“Where is your alpha now?!?!”

“She’s probably over somewhere living her life and you’re here paying for her crimes.”

“If you think you’d leave this rotten cell and ever see the rays of the sun again… you must be joking.”

Lori crouched, the two of them stared eye to eye.

Vara’s eyes danced with mischief and little remorse and Lori hated it.

It made her so angry that Vara could do nothing and still piss her off.

“No one’s coming to save you here. Not even Sabine.”

Lori turned around to leave, she was halfway back to the elevator when Vara shouted feebly.
