Chapter 21: The Angry Maid

I heard the doorknob turn, and immediately, I removed myself from under the bed, watching to see who was entering the room I was in. It was Miss Eutis. She shuts the door behind her as she gets in.

Inside her hands, I saw a pair of blue jeans and a thin, white T-shirt.

“These are the best clothes I could find,” she said. “They don’t look too bad, but they can be worn.”

I looked at her, not saying anything to her. I was still mad at her. I trusted her, and she prevented me from shifting back into my wolf form.

I turned my back, also not wanting to see or hear her as she continued to speak to me.

“I couldn’t find a bra that fits you, so you’ll have to wear the T-shirt alone. I also carried black underwear. I don’t know if it can fit you as well. But try anyway,” she kept on talking.

I said not one word nor glanced at her. I then felt her place the clothes on the bed and exit the room.

I thought it was her coming back into the room again to beg to speak to her, but when I turned around, irritated, I saw the maid who spat in my food. I turned back around, not wanting anything to do with her, either.

“Take up your clothes and follow me,” I heard her say.
