She didn’t want to ask her before because she might not be comfortable telling her story like she was.

They have known each other for five months, so she should be able to share her story already.

“My father took a loan from a gang leader and he couldn’t pay it back. The leader got mad and he came to our house. He killed my parents and younger brother then sold me into the slave trade to make his money back. From one slave trade to another, I made my way here.” Aliyah explained.

Alessa stared at her surprised. She acted like nothing had happened to her despite everything she had been through. She is really strong.

Alessa thought her problem was the worst but then there is Aliyah who lost her family and got sold into a slave trade.

“Oh, Aliyah. I am so sorry about what happened to you.” Alessa said and she shrugged with a smile.

“Oh, please. It’s nothing. You have been through worse.” Aliyah said.

“It’s nothing compared to what you went through,” Alessa replied.

“Enough of the sad stories. We are here now, we need to get out of here, and to do that, we need to pass every trial.” Aliyah said and Alessa nodded in response.

“Thank you,” Alessa said.

“Madam Olga gave an order that we should all be in the auditorium in two minutes.” one of the ladies yelled and everyone rushed out immediately.

Alessa and Aliyah stared at each other confused.

“We are done with today’s training. What’s wrong?” Alessa asked.

“I don’t know, we have to hurry,” Aliyah replied.

They both rushed out of the room and ran to the auditorium.

As they stepped in, they noticed everyone was gathered in the middle. They were gasping and mumbling which made Alessa and Aliyah curious.

They both rushed to them and their eyes widened in shock as they saw what others were seeing

Lily had multiple cuts on her arms and she was bleeding.

Madam Olga was standing next to her with a rod and a table was also in the middle of the room.

“Who did this to you?” Madam Olga asked.

Lily bowed her head and hesitated for a few seconds before speaking.

The cuts on Lily’s arms were so deep.

“She came to me in the locker room an hour ago and threatened me that she would kill me like she killed my friend. Aliyah had to interrupt because she was ready to hit me despite knowing the rules. Twenty minutes ago, she attacked me.” Lily explained and Alessa’s lips parted in shock.

“Ma’am, I swear I know nothing about this,” Alessa yelled.

“Did you threaten her in the locker room?” Madam Olga asked.

“And did you hurt her?”
