The Bond Between Us (Anastasia and Herman) novel Chapter 1094

“What kind of answer do you want, Juliana? Are you crazy? If you’re paranoid, go to a hospital, not the police station.”

Anastasia marched in, staring Juliana down, unflinching.

“Anastasia, you’re a murderer!” Juliana’s anger exploded the moment she saw her, hate blazing in her eyes. She lunged forward, but Jason grabbed her arm and held her back.

“Juliana, this is a police station, not a street market,” Jason barked. “Everybody sit down. If you have something to say, say it clearly. Let’s sort out what really happened.”

Anyone could see there was no misunderstanding here—this was deep-seated animosity.

Anastasia glanced at the bruised, battered nanny nearby, then back at the wild-eyed Juliana, her brows pinched with irritation. “Alright, spill it. What’s your story, Juliana? How exactly did I hurt you?”

Juliana yanked her arm free from Jason and jabbed a finger at Anastasia and the nanny. “You two were in on it together! You messed with the stairs, made me fall, and I lost my baby because of it! The nanny already admitted it. Anastasia, are you still going to deny it? I even saw you two leave the Chanel store together today!”

Anastasia let out a cold, disbelieving laugh. “First of all, she’s your nanny—you said it yourself. Why would I believe anything she says? Second, running into her today was pure coincidence. I didn’t even know she worked for you before I came here.”

Juliana’s voice rose, echoing off the walls. “Like I’m supposed to take your word for it? Anastasia, you’re too sly, too heartless—even an unborn child wasn’t safe from you. You’re inhuman!”

Anastasia shot back, her tone sharp as knives. “Watch your mouth, Juliana. Your miscarriage has nothing to do with me. If you want to accuse me, show me some proof. Don’t just lash out at people like a mad dog. What reason would I possibly have to hurt you?”

The men were left speechless. Jason and Hank looked helpless, the two officers standing by, useless in the face of the women’s shouting match.

The nanny looked like she wanted to speak but couldn’t get a word in.

Juliana jabbed her finger at Anastasia again. “Your daughter Paradise and my Layna had a fight, and you held a grudge. That’s why you got together with my nanny and made me lose the baby.”
