Since arriving in Riverdale, Sandy had been staying at this cozy little hotel.

Night had fallen.

Sandy was soaking in the tub when her phone buzzed on the bathroom counter.

She reached out and picked up. “How did it go?”

A disguised voice answered, “It’s done. You’ll get the news soon.”

Sandy grinned. “Nice work. The rest of the payment will be in your account.”

“He fell off the cliff,” Sean said. “Sandy, come back to Riverdale. We need to go to Nabb Mount together to take care of the funeral.”

She managed to sound genuinely heartbroken.

She had to keep up the act—if Sean suspected anything, all her work would be for nothing.

At this point, Sandy was willing to use anyone around her to get what she wanted.

“Sandy, I know you’re upset, but… it’s already happened…”

Salma and Anastasia didn’t find out about Tavon’s accident until a few days later.

She was floored, refusing to believe it could be true.
