The next day, Isabelle's test results came back.
Overall, the level of organ failure in her body was slightly less severe than what had been shown in the previous tests conducted at the nursing home.
Normally, with this degree of organ failure, as long as there was treatment and proper care, the condition could be stabilized.
However, Isabelle's baseline health was extremely poor, and the rate of organ deterioration was relatively fast—so her overall prognosis was still not optimistic.
After hearing the doctor's analysis, Celeste and Betty felt a mix of relief and worry.
Relieved because there was still a chance for Isabelle; worried because, given her current condition, she might not be able to cooperate fully with the treatment.
That afternoon, Zachary called and invited Celeste and Matthias out for dinner.
Matthias was away on a business trip that afternoon, so in the evening, Celeste drove alone to pick up Zachary.
When they arrived at the restaurant and had just gotten out of the car, Wynn, who was also just about to step out, caught sight of them.
Seeing Celeste with Zachary, and not spotting Matthias anywhere, Wynn didn't think too much of it. She got out of the car and walked over to Zachary. "Mr. Newman."
Zachary glanced at her with a cold expression, gave a slight nod, and looked away. Then he turned to Celeste and said, "Let's go."
With that, he started walking forward while continuing the conversation they'd been having earlier.
A few days ago, when Celeste had been discussing recent developments in the AI field with Bryson and Rodney in Trevor's office, she had received praise from them.
Even if they thought her views were somewhat secondhand, Wynn couldn't help but start following the latest trends in the field herself over the past few days.
So now, she could tell that Zachary and Celeste were discussing recent breakthroughs in AI—such as brain-computer interfaces and on-device AI inference.
Seeing Zachary give her a cool brush-off and then ignore her completely, Wynn didn't say anything more.
She just followed them into the restaurant while keeping a short distance from them.
He held a prestigious position but had a notoriously cold and proud demeanor.
Normally, someone like him should've been criticized for it. But his strength was simply too formidable, and the contributions he had made to the country were undeniable.
So, even though his actions didn't always match the responsibilities of his title, no one dared to say anything against him.
Yet just now, he had clearly been actively discussing technical topics with Celeste.
So, did that mean Zachary genuinely thought highly of Celeste? Otherwise, why would he give her such face and meet her for a private dinner?
After all, he was famous for being nearly impossible to book. Even for people he knew well, he rarely granted them that courtesy.
Was Celeste truly someone Zachary had come to admire?
Thinking of how his attitude toward Celeste had been significantly warmer than toward herself, Wynn's red lips pressed into a tight line as she watched them walk away.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Another saviour debt?? Seriously?...
I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
