That night, when Celeste got home, Jordyn was already asleep in her room.
After washing up and getting into bed, Celeste felt Jordyn instinctively snuggle into her arms and sleepily mumble, "Mom, you're home?"
"Mm, go back to sleep."
There was no reply.
Celeste looked down and realized she had already fallen asleep again.
…
The next day, Matthias went off to discuss a potential partnership, while Celeste went to Fleming Group with a group of engineers.
That morning, Celeste spent a long time discussing technical topics with others.
When the conversation was wrapping up, she turned and suddenly noticed that Trevor had been standing not far from her, listening as she spoke.
She paused briefly, then looked away and said to the others beside her, "Regarding what I just mentioned, there are actually a few excellent academic papers on the topic. Would you like to check them out?"
"Sure, absolutely."
Celeste then listed the titles and authors of the papers.
After she finished and turned to grab something, her gaze happened to meet Wynn's.
Trevor noticed her arrival and walked over. "When did you get here?"
Celeste looked away.
Wynn glanced at Celeste, smiled faintly, and replied, "Just now."
In reality, she had been there for a few minutes.
It was just that when she arrived, she had happened to see Trevor standing with his team, seriously listening to Celeste explain a technical concept.
She could only see the side of his face—not clearly—but his gaze as he watched Celeste speak had unmistakably held a touch of admiration.
Thinking of that, her smile faded a little.
It was the first time she had ever seen Trevor look at Celeste with that kind of expression.
However, that didn't necessarily mean anything.
In the afternoon, Wynn made another trip to Fleming Group due to some matters.
This time, she went straight into Trevor's office. However, he wasn't there.
Just as she was about to sit down, her eyes fell on a few books on his desk.
"Yeah."
Wynn lowered her gaze at his words.
Zeke had only come back to grab some documents, so he didn't notice her expression. He added, "I've got to run—"
"It's fine, go ahead. Don't mind me."
"Alright, I'll have someone bring you coffee shortly." With that, Zeke grabbed the documents and left in a hurry.
Wynn pressed her lips together, gently set the journal down, and went over to sit on the sofa.
Zeke had said the meeting would last another half an hour, but just four or five minutes later, Trevor returned from the conference room.
Seeing him, Wynn smiled. "You're back so soon?"
Trevor said, "Zeke told me you were here. There wasn't anything urgent left in the meeting, so I came back."
As he spoke, his gaze flicked briefly to the journals on his desk. But he only looked for a moment before turning back and sitting down beside Wynn.
She caught the movement and his subtle shift in attention. Then, her smile faded slightly.
Just a moment ago, she had assumed he'd hurried back from the meeting just for her. But now, it seemed that wasn't entirely the case.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Another saviour debt?? Seriously?...
I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
