Two days later, at noon, Celeste and Kieran were on their way to the cafeteria for lunch when her phone suddenly rang.
It was a call from Trevor.
Celeste saw the caller ID and hesitated for a second before answering the call. "Hello?"
"Grandma's awake."
Joy surged in Celeste's heart. She said, "I'll come over right away."
"Alright."
After hanging up, she turned to Kieran, who was standing next to her waiting, and said, "Sorry, something came up—I won't be going to the cafeteria."
Kieran glanced at the number on her phone and, seeing that it was indeed something urgent, said, "No problem."
Celeste nodded and quickly walked off.
When she arrived at the hospital, Trevor, Jordyn, Teagan, Queenie, Lincoln, and the others were all there.
As soon as she walked in, Jordyn ran into her arms. Trevor also looked over at her, then turned back to speak to Martha. "Grandma, Cel is here."
Upon hearing that Celeste had arrived, Martha smiled and tried her best to look toward the door.
Celeste stepped forward and took her hand. "Grandma."
Martha gently patted her hand, wanting to say something, but before she could utter a word, she drifted back into unconsciousness.
Celeste panicked. "Grandma—"
Trevor gently patted her shoulder and comforted her. "Grandma just woke up, her condition still isn't stable, and she's low on energy. The doctor said it's normal—nothing to worry about."
Hearing this, Celeste finally let out a breath of relief.
But Martha looked so pale that she couldn't help but worry it was a sign of a temporary surge of energy before passing. She asked, "Then what's the situation now...?"
Trevor replied, "Although her condition hasn't fully stabilized yet, the doctor believes it will gradually improve."
Everyone could tell she was politely declining.
Hearing this, Lincoln paused and looked at Trevor.
Before Trevor could say anything, Jordyn lowered her head in disappointment and fiddled with the little plush toy in her arms.
Trevor didn't try to persuade her to stay either—he simply said, "I'll walk you out." He wasn't really walking her out—he clearly had something to say.
Celeste understood and said, "Thank you."
Trevor turned to Jordyn and said, "Jo, go play with your Uncle Tucker for a while. I'll be back soon."
"Okay," Jordyn replied, though her eyes still looked longingly at Celeste.
Celeste saw the reluctance in her eyes, paused for a moment, and then rubbed her head. "When I have time, I'll take you out to have fun."
Jordyn immediately brightened up and grabbed the hand that had patted her head. "Okay!"

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
I’m not liking where this is headed.. I’m getting the sense that the author is following the revenging husband storyline and Trevor did all this just to avenge his wife...
Isn't this a company that Celeste and Matthias work for? This will be a fatal blow to those scoundrels....
I'm so excited for tomorrow! I wonder what happened to Jo... What is the story behind that court summons?...
A court summons? Oh my God, what happened?...
Here we go again…drip-drop. One page a day instead of the promised 5 Chapters and even that stops suddenly so we never know if the story will advance. I swear this author is writing the new page on their lunch break and laughing at us when we get frustrated....
I feel like reading the novel from everyone else's perspective, but the main characters. There has never been a glimpse on Trevor's side of thoughts or intentions. He feels like a ghost in this whole storyline. Although i am glad that Mathias revealed the truth about Celeste, but it still feels empty without main character's thoughts or feelings or voices being shared....
Wynn's reputation is over. I read all these chapters for this moment... I'm really glad that Matthias finally said everything at once. All thanks to the fool Quinton...
So we're going to keep going in circles atp, nothing was revealed that we didn't already know,I mean I would've at least liked to see Trevor's reaction to finding out his wife is the co-owner and coder to CUAP,find out who drugged them.Whats happening with the military blacksite, how come Celeste is so quiet she never stands up for herself. All we're getting is reaction's from side character's who don't matter...
Yes.. I'm looking forward to the upcoming chapters......
I don't really understand the writer. Why are Trevor and Celeste silent now? Isn't it about them?...
