Celeste and Trevor walked side by side out of the hospital room. After they had gone a fair distance, Celeste took the initiative to speak, "You can say what you want now."
Trevor turned his head to look at her. "Grandma's condition hasn't stabilized yet. I'd like to postpone the divorce for a few more days."
Celeste didn't look at him. Hearing this, her expression showed no surprise.
After a moment of silence, she said, "Got it."
"Thank you."
As she was about to walk away, Trevor added, "Is there anything you want? As a token of gratitude, I can help you with anything—or grant you a wish."
Celeste paused slightly at that, but without turning around, she replied calmly, "It's fine. You can't give me what I want."
After saying that, she felt her words might be misinterpreted—that he would think she meant she wanted his love—so she added, "I don't mean what you think."
Trevor chuckled at her words. Standing just two steps behind her, he looked at her profile and said, "How do you know what I think?"
Celeste didn't know what he had interpreted her words to mean. Judging by his tone, though, he didn't seem angry.
Whatever he thought she meant, she didn't intend to explain further. So, she walked away in silence.
Watching her back as she left, Trevor called out, "Then let's just say I owe you a favor?"
Celeste didn't stop walking. "Suit yourself."
…
That night, the news that Martha had woken up and that the divorce between Celeste and Trevor had been delayed again reached both the Lockets and the Shaws.
Patricia said, "It's better that Mrs. Fleming Senior woke up than remained in a coma. Now that she's awake, the divorce between Celeste and Trevor is that much closer. No matter how you look at it, it's a good thing."
Linda and Ruby silently agreed, even if they didn't say it aloud.
Linda, however, had been in a low mood lately due to being publicly rejected by Beck in front of Celeste a few days ago, so she didn't chime in.
Wynn felt the same way.
In fact, compared to everyone else in the Lockets and the Shaws, she was the most eager to see Celeste and Trevor officially divorce.
But even with her impatience, she could only accept it when Trevor chose to delay the divorce again for the sake of his grandmother.
Martha waking up should have been something that made her happy—at least from any reasonable perspective.
But then she heard that Celeste would be going to the Fleming Group tomorrow…
Last time, Celeste had only briefly showcased her skills at Fleming Group and already gained the recognition of the R&D department's core team—including Trevor himself.
If she showed up again and once more demonstrated her professional abilities—and if Trevor saw it…
But not everyone had access to their conference room.
Celeste said nothing in response.
The meeting continued.
After Celeste finished another round of explanations, Trevor still showed no intention of leaving.
Just then, someone glanced outside the glass wall and leaned toward him to whisper, "Mr. Fleming, Ms. Locket is here."
Trevor heard and retracted his gaze from Celeste, looking out toward the conference room entrance.
Wynn was indeed standing just outside the door.
Others in the room also noticed her.
Since they were having a break, someone gossiped in a low voice, "Mr. Fleming's girlfriend came to the office to find him again."
Celeste overheard the gossip but didn't respond.
Seeing Wynn, Trevor stood up and left the conference room.
Walking toward her, he asked, "Didn't you say you had something to handle at InnovaTech? Why did you suddenly come over?"

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Another saviour debt?? Seriously?...
I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
