Without the slightest hesitation, Trevor said, "Get in touch with them and tell them we'll go over tomorrow instead."
Zeke wanted to say something, but when he saw Trevor's gaze already returning to Wynn, the words that had been on the tip of his tongue stayed unspoken.
He simply nodded.
As he was about to step out of the ward to make the call, Trevor seemed to remember something and turned his head to add, "Have Jacob handle those urgent documents. I'll contact him later about the details."
"Alright."
Zeke went outside and, following Trevor's instructions, first called Jacob.
"Alright, got it," Jacob replied. But instead of hanging up right away, he couldn't help saying, "Lately, the boss has been paying more and more attention to Celeste. Today he even... Well, I thought Mr. Fleming..."
Zeke understood exactly what he meant. In fact, he had the same thought as Jacob. But now, seeing how nervous Trevor was over Wynn, he realized he had been overthinking it.
Maybe Trevor's attitude toward Celeste had changed somewhat from before, but the one he truly cared about and loved was still Wynn.
When Wynn woke up, it was already after 4:30 pm.
Seeing Trevor there, she smiled. "Didn't you say you were going on a business trip this afternoon? Why..."
Linda cut in before she could finish, "Because he was worried about you, so he postponed his trip until tomorrow."
Then, smiling, she added, "And he's been here at the hospital with us, waiting for you to wake up."
Hearing this, Wynn felt a warmth in her heart and smiled. But she quickly said with a concerned tone, "I'm fine now. Trevor, why don't you head back to work?"
Trevor replied, "No rush."
Hearing him insist on staying with Wynn, Linda, Patricia, and the others all exchanged teasing smiles in her direction.
They still thought his absence was simply to avoid Linda.

The next morning, Celeste went to the hospital to visit Martha.
Just as she walked out of the parking lot, she saw Linda and Lilian.
Since Trevor had not only postponed his business trip for Wynn the day before, but had also stayed at the hospital with her for a long time, the entire Shaw family was in high spirits over his show of importance toward her.
Seeing Celeste, Linda tilted her chin and gave a cold hum before deliberately raising her voice,
"Aunt Lizzie, yesterday, when Wynn had her accident, Trev rushed straight to the hospital, postponing his business trip again and again.
"And because he was still worried about her, he even said this morning he had to come see her at the hospital before he could feel at ease enough to go on his trip."

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...

This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
