Celeste had no choice but to lie down beside her.
The campsite wasn't exactly quiet, but it wasn't noisy either. Holding the peacefully sleeping Jordyn in her arms, Celeste drifted off without realizing it.
She didn't know how long she'd slept. When she woke, Jordyn was still asleep.
She shifted slightly and turned her head.
Trevor was still sitting under the shade umbrella, reading with his head lowered.
He probably heard the movement, because he looked up. "Awake?"
Celeste nodded silently.
At that moment, Jordyn woke up as well. She clung to her for a moment before she was willing to get up.
But after washing her face, the lingering sleepiness vanished, and she was soon lively again—dragging Celeste around the campsite.
When she saw people taking photos, Jordyn wanted to take pictures too. So she ran back and said to Trevor, "Dad, help me take pictures with Mom!"
Trevor put his book down. "Okay."
Celeste was tugged around by Jordyn—sitting, standing, posing—and the photo session lasted quite a while.
Trevor never once complained and fulfilled every one of Jordyn's requests.
But he only took photos of the two of them. Even once Jordyn had had enough and no longer wanted pictures, he didn't suggest taking a family photo of all three.
That afternoon, Celeste stayed with Jordyn until after five. Then they packed up, left the campsite, and each returned home.
…
The next morning, Celeste left the Rodriguez residence early and returned to YodaVision.
After giving some work instructions, she went on behalf of YodaVision to attend the city government's enterprise representatives meeting.
She arrived a bit late, though perhaps it was simply bad luck—because the moment she stepped out of the car, she ran into Wynn.
Wynn's expression instantly turned cold when she saw her.
Celeste's gaze chilled as well. She didn't acknowledge her and simply walked past her, intending to head inside.
Jorge had never forgotten her birthday. As the date approached, he had thought about getting her a gift.
But he didn't have the proper identity or position to give her one.
In the end, he prepared nothing.
However...
He looked at Wynn and began, "Ms. Locket, you—"
But right as the words reached his lips, he suddenly faltered.
Wynn frowned slightly. "What is it?"
Jorge had recalled a piece of news he'd heard days ago about Trevor spending more than four billion dollars to buy a diamond.
He assumed the diamond must have been for Wynn.
But—

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
Why am i reading this novel still? In what hope, seriously? To have Trevor regret his choices? To get some clarity or closure on so many gaps this novel offers? To have Shaws & Lockets ever face repercussions? To get clarity on Celeste's mother life? Because seriously, 720+ chapters gone by and from last 350 chapter - there has been no significant progress, the story has been playing around in loops. This is just sad...

No updates???...
Hello author, are u experiencing writer’s block and don’t know what to write and so u are dragging the story? Please we are loosing interest. It is more like a diary update. Why should always the evil win? It’s really sad to see Celeste being continuously provoked without her doing anything. Please add some new plot saying the accident and rescue are actually Wynn’s plans. Please make Trevor n Jordyn realise the worth of celeste even if they are not together. Please make Trevor apologise to Celeste for his neglect. Or if Trevor is plotting a revenge against Lockets n Spencers for their betrayal then atleast show that. Please do something before everyone loose interest n stop reading....
What a small chapters 😑😑😑...
...why is it still the same old loop? C'mon add something new please. I'd really hate to drop this book after following for so long...
