After hanging up, Wynn exchanged a few polite words with Jorge, then turned and got into her car to leave.
For the rest of the afternoon, the Lockets and the Shaws were in a state of excitement and joy.
To be honest, Wynn was too. Even if she outwardly looked calm and composed.
Around five in the evening, Wynn's phone buzzed. Everyone's attention instantly turned to her.
After she read the message, Linda quickly asked, "Trev is coming to pick you up?"
"No, He just texted to ask if I need someone to pick me up," Wynn said.
"Oh... I see."
Even though Trevor didn't personally come, neither Wynn nor the Lockets nor the Shaws thought much of it.
After all, surprises were best delivered in seemingly ordinary moments.
Wynn replied to the message, and at 6:00 pm, with everyone watching her expectantly, she left the house and headed to the restaurant Trevor had booked.
When she arrived, she hadn't even entered the private room yet when she saw Jordyn happily pacing outside the door, clearly waiting for her.
As soon as she saw Wynn, she ran toward her excitedly. "Wynn!"
Wynn smiled and reached out to hug her. "Slow down."
Jordyn nodded eagerly. "I know!"
Then she handed over the gift box she was holding. "Happy birthday!"
Wynn accepted it. "Thank you, Jo."
Worried about letting Jordyn stand outside alone, Trevor walked out of the private room as well. When he saw Wynn, he said, "You're here."
Then Trevor handed her the gift he'd prepared. "Happy birthday."
Wynn paused for a moment, then smiled. "Thank you."
Beck gave his gift next, and she accepted it as well.
After everyone had given their gifts, they sat down and ordered food.
Once the dishes arrived, they ate and chatted about normal everyday topics. Wynn kept her attention sharp, but she didn't notice any special cues.
At first, she didn't mind.
Surprises usually come at the very end.
But as the meal was about to finish, and there was still no sign, her heart started to stir, her smile stiffened, and even the food stopped tasting like anything.

I just need an effing glimpse to what goes around in Trevor's mind. Author - do something about it please There is not even a single mention about what Trevor really wants - interested in Celeste? If yes, then why there is no reaction on seeing people courting Celeste...
I love the story bt really death slow... Y cant you post 5 to 10 chapters per day????...
This reads like a daily diary account...and not a story with a planned plotline. Author, we would share if you took the time to start developing the story, rather than dragging it out with outlines. no depth, no character development, not even the overused tropes are present, just a daily itinerary. We want you to do well..but you have to put the work in making it a viable story...
The storyline is moving painfully slow.. Will we ever get to hear Trevor's side of story? Currently the mixed signals from Trevor are just confusing and frustrating. He is using Jordyn to postpone the divorce and side by side ignoring Wynn to the level that he didnt invite her to the Fleming group banquet. But when asked about clarifying divorce to Jordyn, he is not doing so. Awfully frustrating...
Team beck or Caleb. Trevor has wynn saved his contact as 'babe', kissing her in office and spending nights with her. How in initial chapters Trevor pushed jordyn towards wynn without caring about a mother's feelings. Now he is two timing, suddenly interested in Celeste after knowing background and leaving wynnn behind. Spineless man. He knows cels history with her father, still chose to support them. I don't how people are rooting for cel and Trevor. I wish truth comes out. Cel deserves someone who loves her with whole heart. She thrives in her field. Beck saw cel when she was not famous. But Caleb is good option too. I hope Celeste grows spine starts to demand explaination for dragging divorce....
Author - dont you think the story has been dragged as is? Now, you want to include the angle of Wynn being pregnant as well? God, i really want to know Trevor side of story, why is he playing both sides?...
Are they going to compromise for Jordyns sake? I'll be sad for Celeste if that happens. Why is author giving mixed signals in almost every alternate chapter? Initially Trevor and Wynn were always appearing together along with huge PDA, then Trevor seems involved with Celeste - when she was under alcohol influence, then Trevor seemed to be ignoring Wynn - all the while divorce proceedings are still on and now Jordyn is getting depressed because of their situation. Feels like we are just roaming around the bush or the author is making us do that. Sigh!!...
I don't understand where this story is headed to.. I can't seem to know what Trevor is thinking, in late 500 chapters, he was seen dodging the divorce, ignoring Wynn and now at 624, he is planning on how to tell Jordyn about the divorce. This is messed up!...
