Chapter 159 Revealing Three Sixes
Damian watched the back-and-forth for a while, eventually getting bored.
He’s definitely a rookie.
When Stefan first brought up squeezing the casino for money, Damian had braced for some kind of hustle. But now?
Yeah, I was overthinking it.
With Stefan only playing for a million dollars in chips, Damian had no interest in sticking around.
He was about to make an excuse to leave when Stefan spoke up.
“I’m getting a feel for it now,” Stefan said. “Next round, I’m going all in.”
That got Damian’s attention. He shot a subtle glance at Yasmin.
She caught it, offering a tiny nod. Then she shook the dice cup with a smile.
Stefan smiled slightly.
Took long enough. Finally took the bait.
A million-dollar bet. For the house, the dream is a triple-specifically, all ones or all sixes.
Cleans the board on every bet type.
Unless someone bets on “Any Triple” or a specific triple like “Three Sixes.”
“So, Mr. Bryant,” Damian asked, “what’s it going to be?”
Stefan blew out a ring of smoke. “I’ll put the whole million dollars on three sixes.”
He slid the stack onto the designated spot.
For a split second, Yasmin’s smile froze. Stefan caught it.
“Open it up,” he said calmly, watching her.
Yasmin’s smile froze momentarily, but she quickly regained her composure. Her right hand, resting on the gambling table, silently reached for a control button beneath it.
+10 Free Cont
It was a cheat device-one that could vibrate the dice cup just enough to flip a die.
Yet Yasmin sensed that it seemed to have malfunctioned.
“Hey, I’ve placed my bets. Time to open the lid,” Stefan smiled.
He took another drag, his left hand resting casually on the table.
Beneath it, an invisible layer of true energy had sealed the dice cup. No device was getting through.
Yasmin’s composure cracked. She looked to Damian, eyes pleading.
Damian caught Yasmin’s glance, and his heart skipped a beat.
No way. Did he actually hit it?
A specific triple paid 150 to 1.
Stefan had just bet a million dollars.
Damian stepped forward, jaw tight. “What’s the matter? You sick? Step aside. Get another dealer.”
Relief flashed across Yasmin’s face. “I’ll switch out. Someone else can take over.”
The trick was obvious: a new dealer would give an “innocent” extra shake, subtly changing the roll. They’d then apologize, call it a misunderstanding, invalidate Stefan’s million-dollar bet, and restart the game.
“Hold on,” Stefan said. “You can switch dealers. But first-open that dice cup.”
He paused, letting the silence stretch. “Did I actually hit three sixes? Funny thing is-even if I did, you shouldn’t know that, should you? So why the hesitation? Unless… you already knew what was in there?”
“Mr. Bryant, that’s ridiculous.” Damian forced a smile. “The dealer has no idea what the roll is.”
“Then open it,” Stefan said flatly.
Korbin caught on, eyes narrowing. “Yeah, Damian. That’s weird. Bet’s down, but the dice cup’s still sitting there…”
Damian shot Yasmin a dark look.
