Chapter 200 They Won’t Believe Me
Stefan smiled faintly, calm and steady. This was exactly what he’d expected.
Hank was irritated by Stefan’s casual expression.
Why’s he putting on such a show?

“Stefan, you must be thrilled,” Hank said. “Now that the Stewart family is partnering with the Reed family, our family’s status will jump–and yours will get a big boost, too.”
He sneered, “Too bad this deal was all my dad’s doing. People will respect us, not you. You can just ride my coattails.”
“Huh?” Stefan said, surprised. He turned to Hewitt. “You’re the one who closed the deal with the Reed family?”
Hewitt huffed, acting arrogant, “Watch your tone, kid. You think it was you?”
Stefan frowned, recalling the chaos at the auction. Nina had been kidnapped, and Ethan had seized control.
“Did you sign the contract already?” Stefan asked.
Hewitt laughed like it was a stupid question. “Ethan said it at the event–I can go sign anytime.”
“Dad, he has no clue what happened there. He wasn’t even allowed in!” Hank cackled.
Stefan shook his head and chuckled, “No contract signed yet? Sounds like you’re all talk.”
“I’m heading to see Ethan to sign it right now,” Hewitt said.
He turned to Micah. “Dad, I’ll get the paperwork at the office, then go meet Ethan.”
Micah nodded. “Good. Sign it as soon as possible–no delays. I’ll come with you.”
Hewitt glanced at Frazier and Chuck, grinning. “You two want to come watch?”
“I’ll pass,” Frazier said. “You and Dad are enough to represent the family.”
Chuck hesitated, his voice weak. “I… I have things to do. I’ll stay here.”
He had nothing to do–he just didn’t want to watch Hewitt show off.

“Then I’ll go prepare the materials first,” Hewitt smiled and left with the first branch.
Zoey paused beside Sara on her way out, smirking. “Sara, your dream of being CEO is over. You should hand over the trade business–it’s time for a change.”
Sara lifted her eyes, gave Zoey a calm smile, and said, “A change? To you? You can’t even figure out exchange rates, can you?”
“Still running your mouth when you’ve already lost.” Zoey tossed her head and walked out, proud and arrogant.

Stefan went back to the West Compound Villa with Chuck and the others.
Chuck looked gloomy. “Sara, there’s nothing we can do now. Hewitt signing with Ethan is a done deal.”
“If Uncle Hewitt earned the contract, that’s his win,” Sara said.
Audrey put a hand on Sara’s arm. “It’s okay if you don’t become CEO. The most important thing is that our family is healthy and safe.”
“I know, but her talent is obvious. Only the position of CEO will allow her talents to be fully realized,” Chuck said.
He paced back and forth, muttering, “Even if Hewitt gets the contract, we can’t give up. has to be another way…”
Chuck suddenly stopped, his face lighting up. “I’ve got it!”
Audrey looked over. “Got what?”
There
“I have a plan!” Chuck said, excited. “Remember the special guest Ethan mentioned at the bidding? The one Ms. Reed was going to introduce–the owner of Azure Dragon Mansion. Let’s go beg him for help! If he backs us, we can sign a new deal with the Reed family, and you can still fight for the CEO position, Sara.”
Stefan froze.
