The Ex-Con Who Conquered the World novel Chapter 6

"Mr. Bryant, you've really figured out the reason Sara is unconscious?"

Micah Stewart immediately stepped forward, his expression filled with excitement.

Ever since Sara fell into a coma, the Stewart family had invited countless renowned doctors. Not only were they all helpless, but none could even determine the cause of Sara's prolonged unconsciousness.

Without knowing the cause, it was impossible to prescribe the right treatment.

If Stefan had truly identified the reason for Sara's coma, they could target the root cause, giving her a real chance to wake up.

"Mr. Bryant, then... can you wake my daughter? If you can save her, I'll accept you as my son-in-law!"

Clutching Stefan's arm as if it were a lifeline, Audrey spoke with a mix of excitement and anticipation.

Before Stefan could reply, Hank sneered, "Even Mr. Hale couldn't identify the cause or symptoms, and you think you can? Mr. Hale's medical skills are well-known. I bet you were still in your mother's womb when he started practicing medicine."

"Hank, you shut up!"

Audrey couldn't stand Hank's sarcasm, especially when it concerned her daughter, and snapped angrily.

Celeste stepped forward, a false smile on her face. "Audrey, Hank was just speaking fairly. Why are you getting so angry? He wasn't talking nonsense. In traditional medicine, it takes three years to learn from a master, five years to get started, and ten years to practice independently. How dare anyone treat patients without at least a decade of experience? If you don't believe me, ask Mr. Hale."

"That is indeed true."

Valka nodded, looking at Stefan. "Young man, medical treatment requires caution. A tiny mistake can lead to a huge error, and it concerns the patient's safety."

"Old man, just because you can't do it doesn't mean I can't."

Stefan's tone was casual yet carried an air of authority. "Alright, I'm going to start treating Ms. Stewart now. Everyone, please step outside and wait."

"Oh, so you need us to wait outside while you treat her? You really put on airs! Have you forgotten where you are?"

Hearing Stefan's words, Hank immediately flared up.

"Even if this is the Stewart Mansion, it doesn't mean I have to put up with you. If you keep spouting nonsense, do you believe I'll throw you out?"

Stefan narrowed his eyes slightly, fixing his gaze on Hank.

Hank had been jumping around in front of him one too many times, and Stefan was long past tolerating it.

"Hah, you?"

Hank sneered, pointing at Stefan. "If you dare lay a finger on me, you won't leave here tonight!"

Whoosh!

Hank suddenly felt a blur before his eyes. To his shock, Stefan was now standing right in front of him.

The next moment—

Swoosh!

Stefan's right hand shot out like lightning, his open fingers clamping around Hank's throat. With a slight squeeze of his knuckles, Hank's face turned purplish-red, and he instantly couldn't breathe.

A look of terror flashed in his eyes. He opened his mouth wide, wanting to cry out or beg for mercy, but not a single word came out.

Whoosh!

Stefan casually flung him aside. Hank flew out the door.

"Shall I repeat myself?"

Stefan's expression remained calm, his tone indifferent. "If you don't want Ms. Stewart to wake up, then stay right here. I'll leave."

Only then did the Stewart family snap out of their shock.

"Hank..."

Celeste let out a distressed cry and rushed toward where Hank had been thrown.

"You little brat, how dare you lay hands on my son?"

Yet, touch it Stefan did.

Traditional medicine, after all, emphasized observation, listening, questioning, and palpation.

Stefan refrained from leaning in to smell her—he considered that showing the utmost respect to the unconscious Sara.

Joking aside, three years in prison without any release, at his age, seeing such a flawless body—if he didn't react at all, he wouldn't be a man.

Stefan's touch—no, his examination—was measured. Any further, and the energy of his Solar Apex Vitals Body would become difficult to restrain.

"Void Vitality Needle Technique!"

Stefan circulated the true energy within his body. Wisps of energy seeped from his fingertips. As he performed this profound needle technique, the energy emanating from his fingertips actually formed needle-like shapes in the air.

Energy shaped into needles!

If any of the revered masters or top physicians in the medical field saw this, they'd be utterly astounded, perhaps even dropping to their knees in awe.

The Void Vitality Needle Technique had been lost for many years, now only recorded in ancient texts.

Stefan focused his mind, meticulously controlling each energy needle as it aimed for the major acupoints on Sara's body.

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh...

As the energy needles entered Sara's key acupoints, their tips trembled slightly. Soon, faint strands of cold-toxic energy were drawn out from within her body.

Gradually, the transparent energy needles turned icy blue, as if freezing solid.

Throughout the process, Stefan was completely focused, undistracted.

This was also why he had asked the Stewart family to wait outside.

When performing the needle technique, he couldn't afford the slightest disturbance—otherwise, all previous efforts would be wasted. Secondly, he preferred not to reveal the Void Vitality Needle Technique in front of others.
