The Fragrance Queen's Final Note novel Chapter 126

The next day.

Jocelyn drove to the atelier to pick her up. As they headed toward the master perfumer's place, Jocelyn kept playing coy, refusing to reveal the identity of this mysterious expert.

Queenie assumed it had to be one of Aurélle's senior perfumers. As the top fragrance company in the country, Aurélle Group had no shortage of elite talent, mostly top-tier international experts.

But as the car drove further and further away from the city, eventually pulling up outside a rustic farmhouse in the countryside...

Queenie finally sighed and said, "Looks like the master you're taking me to meet is a true hermit."

"You bet," Jocelyn smiled proudly.

As they stepped into the courtyard, Jocelyn yelled out, "Cecilia, are you home?"

Queenie quickly took in her surroundings. The entire courtyard was surrounded by flowers, and she could name every single one of them.

She was starting to believe this person really was a master perfumer.

A grandmother in her seventies walked out of the house, wearing a tranquil, gentle smile.

Though she was in her twilight years, her features were refined, hinting at how beautiful she must have been in her youth.

She carried an air of effortless grace—a pure elegance refined by the passage of time.

Seeing them, her eyes crinkled with a smile. "Jocelyn, is this your friend?"

"Yes, Cecilia. Her name is Queenie."

Jocelyn introduced them. "Queenie, this is Cecilia."

"Hello, Cecilia. It's an honor to meet you."

Queenie bowed respectfully.

"Don't be so formal. Come on in."

Following the elderly woman inside, Queenie took a look around the room.

It looked almost exactly like her atelier. The space was filled with perfume-making equipment: a blending station, raw material racks, mixers, and all sorts of fragrance oils...

"Jocelyn tells me you're a perfumer. Are you stuck on a formula?" Cecilia asked kindly.

"Yeah, Queenie, whatever you're struggling with, just ask Cecilia! She's amazing. Her family has been running perfume shops for generations!"

A deep sense of admiration immediately swelled in Queenie's chest.

She explained the bottleneck she had been facing in detail.
