Surprised to see Queenie back, Zander immediately stood up and greeted her gently, "You're home."
Queenie genuinely couldn't understand Zander's recent change in attitude toward her.
He wasn't speaking harshly anymore.
He wasn't constantly belittling her.
It was as if his brain had short-circuited.
She just didn't know what kind of glitch it was.
Compared to Zander's friendly demeanor, his mother's face was incredibly sour.
Lianne was only hoping the divorce papers would finalize soon so Zander could marry Renata, allowing her to hold a chubby grandson as soon as possible.
That way, Queenie would have no excuse to linger around anymore.
Shooting a sharp look at Renata, Queenie cut straight to the chase. "Perfect timing. Since everyone's here, I have something to show you all."
Zander looked confused. "Show us what?"
Queenie glanced back at Renata. Seeing her indifferent attitude, she felt both suspicious and furious.
Was she so certain that even if the Calverts saw her true colors, they wouldn't do anything to her?
"Wait here. I'm going upstairs to get my laptop."
Shortly after, Queenie brought her laptop downstairs, noting that Renata remained completely unfazed.
"Queenie, what exactly do you want to show us?"
"Some videos of Dr. Whitlock. A friend from overseas sent them to me. If I hadn't seen them with my own eyes, I never would have believed that the respectable, elegant Dr. Whitlock has such a dark, hidden side..."
Hearing this, even Lianne's curiosity was piqued.
Queenie pulled the card reader out of her bag and looked at Renata again. If Renata backed down and left right now, she could hold off on exposing the evidence.
But Renata looked like a pig ignoring boiling water—utterly shameless.
Since she had already spoken, Queenie had to follow through.
However, she didn't plan to show all the evidence at once. She decided to pick two videos for now.
She would save the rest to completely destroy Renata when the time was right!
She opened the first video—the one that was supposed to be Dennis's confession.
But the moment the video started playing, Queenie froze.
The person on the screen wasn't Dennis. It was Renata's ex-husband.
He was wielding a chair, violently smashing it against Renata's body.
