The Great Medical Saint (Matthew) novel Chapter 950

Even though Brian was at least ten years older than Jerome, his voice was filled with exaggerated respect. Jerome was drinking his traditional medicine prescribed by Tony, which had been working remarkably well for his condition.

If only he had met Tony earlier, he would not have had to go through the ordeal of installing bionic limbs. Every time he engaged in intimacy, it felt like torture.

"What is it?" Jerome asked as he answered Brian's call, frowning at the bitter taste of the medicine.

"Mr. Murray, I-I need you to come here for something," Brian stammered.

Jerome rinsed his mouth with water before responding flatly, "What for?"

Brian's eyes fell on the medical cooler, and inspiration struck. "Mr. Murray, we received a major payment today—in gold. Should I bring it to you?"

"How often have I told you not to come find me?" Jerome snapped. "I'll come to the hospital—no one will think twice about that. Wait for me."

"Come directly to Operating Room No. 6 in the inpatient building," Brian added quickly before hanging up.

He turned to Matthew and said, "He's coming right away, but he's the Health Director—you're not really going to confront him, are you?"

Matthew just gripped the baton silently, calculating the timing. If the police arrived first, they would handle Jerome. If Jerome arrived first, Matthew would deal with him personally.

About 20 minutes later, three police cars pulled up to Clemency Hospital. Since the parking lot was full, they had to wait.

Meanwhile, Jerome parked near the entrance and walked in, noting the police presence with mild curiosity. As he entered the inpatient building, his eyes were constantly scanning.

Whenever he passed a nurse, he would inspect her from head to toe. Thanks to the traditional medicine and the enhancements from his bionic body, he felt stronger than ever—he was convinced no man was more powerful than him.

Jerome watched Cindy's retreating figure, mesmerized. The way she bounced away drove him wild, especially how every step she took made her hips jiggle.

His heart raced with excitement, and he could not tear his eyes away until she disappeared around the corner. Still lost in his thoughts, he snapped back to reality and entered the elevator.

As it ascended, Jerome quickly formulated a plan: he would fake illness and get admitted to a VIP room. Then, he would have Brian send Cindy to be his personal nurse. With the right drugs, he could do whatever he wanted.

A grin spread across his face as the idea fueled his anticipation. He could not wait to get his hands on Cindy.

When he arrived at Operating Room No. 6, he quickly opened it and said, "Brian! I saw one of your inpatient nurses—"

Just as Jerome planned to tell Brian about Cindy, he saw the scene before him and froze, unable to continue speaking.
