Matthew was stunned by how much thought Zachary had put into this, treating it like some kind of strategic mission with adjusted difficulty levels. He wanted to comment about it, but Zachary cut him off.

He grinned and said, "Matt, once I win over the Finance Manager, I'll treat you to a fancy dinner."

Matthew realized there was no talking Zachary out of it, so he simply replied, "Well, good luck then!" Then, he waved and headed into the building.

Zachary clenched a fist and stared ahead with burning determination. "I'm going to make it happen. I'll succeed for sure!"

As he walked, Matthew could not help wondering how Zachary would make his move. Would the female manager agree to date him? If she did, could they actually make it work? Would Zachary succeed in becoming a sugar baby?

The elevator dinged, and Matthew shook these thoughts from his head as he stepped out. Someone was approaching from the opposite direction.

It was Tracy Lauder, looking completely transformed in three-inch heels, black stockings, a fitted black skirt, and a black lace blouse that made her face stand out dramatically. Matthew's expression hardened as he remembered she was competing with him for Rachel's attention.

"What are you doing here again?" Tracy demanded, clearly displeased.

"I'm here to see Rachel," Matthew replied coldly.

Tracy gritted her teeth in frustration. "Matthew, have some self-awareness! I know you have some skills and money but forget about wealth and education differences or family background.

"You're divorced with a kid, and you've done time in prison. Rachel's never even had a boyfriend. How could you possibly be good enough for her?"
