The Heiress’ Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call (Wynter Quinnell) novel Chapter 1975

"As for skyscrapers and big trees, I'll show you through the projector. Once you see them, you'll realize that the Northwest you think you know is nothing like the reality," Wynter said.

No sooner had she finished speaking than a wave of people suddenly poured into the livestream.

Wynter was just about to say "welcome" when the chat barrage lit up.

"Ms. Wynter! You're here!"

"We're students from Havenia University. A classmate just posted a video, saying they saw you, so we searched right away and joined in!"

"Finally, we can hear you talk about the mainland again. It's been a while since the last time."

"Hurry up! A dozen of us are on the way! Listening in person is way more fun!"

Clearly, apart from the first two viewers who had looked down on the mainland, the new arrivals were all here to hear Wynter talk about it.

Among them were both loyal fans and haters, but Wynter wasn't affected in the slightest. She kept her eyes on the rising viewer count and knew controversy always brought views.

The man standing beside her also smiled. After all, this was his first time seeing so many people flood into the stream, and things were finally looking up.

Wynter's lips curved slightly. "Next, I'll use the projector to show you what the real Northwest of the mainland looks like."

The moment she finished speaking, the projector lit up. The first photo was of the Amberflow River at dawn, bathed in golden-red sunlight that shimmered across its winding waters. Tall buildings rose on both banks, and the bridge spanning the river was as majestic as a phoenix.

"This is Lanshire in the Northwest. The Amberflow River flows right through it. Many people imagine the Northwest as nothing but endless sandstorms, but in reality, there are many green cities like this."

Wynter tapped the remote, and the image switched to a bustling city center. "This is one of the Northwest's most prosperous commercial districts, with large shopping malls, five-star hotels, and all the top international brands you can think of."

Gasps of surprise rose from Ellen and the others below the stage. After all, even Havenia didn't necessarily have sights like this. Moreover, this was from a relatively remote part of the mainland.

"But the Northwest's charm isn't just in its modern development." Wynter's voice grew more vibrant. "It holds five thousand years of cultural heritage."

As she spoke, she pressed the remote again. The screen changed to the murals of the Mogar Caverns in Oakdol, the exquisitely painted flying apsaras vivid and full of life.

"This is the largest and most richly preserved collection of art in the world. Every mural tells of the Serica Trail's ancient glory."

Wynter's tone softened slightly as she continued, "The person on screen is one of the early protectors of the Mogar Caverns. Three generations of their family dedicated themselves to preserving this cultural heritage."

As Wynter went on, the livestream chat fell silent, as if the viewers were so absorbed that it felt like they were watching a drama too captivating to interrupt.

"This is so well-presented! This is what the real Northwest looks like. Once I'm financially independent, I'm going to see it for myself!"

"Same here! I want to see the whole mainland!"

The audience below, including Ellen, applauded enthusiastically. "Well said! We old folks need to visit the mainland, too!"

As viewer numbers kept climbing, the livestream surpassed 100 thousand. Many people clicked in out of curiosity, planning to leave when they saw it was about the mainland, but instead, they found themselves drawn in by Wynter's narration.

As her talk went deeper, Wynter showcased all facets of the Northwest—modern wind farms towering over the Ashwind Dunes, and researchers breaking through in new energy technology at national labs.
