Wynter nodded. "Then, I'll have tickets booked for you. When you arrive in Cascadia, there will be people waiting to receive you. Once you're home, focus on your health and take a good rest."

Conrad laughed and said, "Thank you for your kindness, Ms. Quinnell. We old people will probably still be relying on you once we're back in Cascadia."

Wynter's eyes softened. "But of course. Should you need anything after returning, come directly to me."

"I'm her fiance," Dalton calmly added.

"My contact with Ms. Quinnell has been limited," Baxter admitted, raising his cup. "Let me offer you a toast as an apology."

Wynter and Dalton exchanged glances before she spoke again. "Then, let me introduce you properly—this is my fiance, Dalton Yarwood."

Antoine froze. "D-Dalton Yarwood? From the Yarwood family of Sorzada City?"

"I heard her correctly, right? Isn't he the head of the Yarwood family?"
