Chapter 570 The Kiss She Started
Thankfully, Jeremy had been clever enough to find an excuse to move into her place back then.
Otherwise, they would probably see each other even less.
With such a rare opportunity to go out and have fun together, no matter how busy he was or how thick-skinned he had to be, he was definitely tagging along.
“Yes, yes, yes, you’re absolutely right. That’s why I brought you along.”
Amelia actually felt a little guilty after hearing all that.
The two of them chatted and laughed, and before long, they arrived near their destination.
“The car can’t go any further. Let’s get out and walk the rest of the way.”
Jeremy said as he found a good spot to park, then grabbed the bottle of water beside him and took a drink.
Amelia, who was about to get out of the car, found herself watching him drink.
His Adam’s apple bobbed slowly up and down—incredibly sexy and attractive.
Her gaze was unconsciously drawn to it, and she couldn’t look away.
She wasn’t sure if it was the hormones clouding her judgment, but she instinctively leaned over and planted a soft kiss on his flawless face.
It was just a light peck, featherlight and fleeting, but Jeremy froze instantly.
They made out passionately every single day, more than once.
But being teased like this now…
Jeremy secretly delighted in it, the corners of his lips curving into a charming arc.
He slowly twisted the cap back onto the bottle and glanced sideways at her.
Seeing her look at him with a hint of shyness, the restlessness inside him became impossible to contain,
She had never initiated a kiss before.
The next second, Jeremy leaned in and pressed his lips against her soft, rosy ones.

This time, it was no gentle peck.
Finished
He couldn’t hold back as he explored every corner of her mouth, and the temperature inside the car rose several degrees. The entire vehicle was filled with an indescribable tension and heat.
“Stop it right now. We need to get out and go. Everyone’s probably already there.”
Just as things were about to get out of control, Amelia hurriedly pushed him away, breathless.
If she hadn’t stopped him, they might have ended up doing it right there in the car.
The thought made her shake her head frantically, trying to get rid of the image.
Then she quickly opened the door and jumped out.
Jeremy kept his eyes on her, watching her adorable and flustered little movements, and chuckled softly again.
“You’re the one who started it.” He got out of the car after her, protesting.
“I did not. Now shut it.” Amelia shot him a glare. “Let’s go already.”
They had already left later than planned, and if they kept dawdling, they would be even later.
As the head of Nygard Group, she really should show up early and make an appearance.
Jeremy dutifully grabbed the camping gear from the trunk and took her hand as they walked together.
“Is that stuff heavy? Let me carry some.”
The mountain path here was winding and a bit tricky to navigate. Amelia thought she could help lighten his load.
“Absolutely not,” He refused without a second thought.
There was no way he would let her carry any of this. He was nearly six foot four-hauling this stuff was nothing for him,
After walking for a short while, they spotted the area where everyone had set up camp.
The only thing was, a shallow stream separated them from the group.
If they went around it, they would have to walk quite a distance,
So Amelia decided to just wade across.
“Let’s just go straight through, okay?”
“Sure.” Jeremy naturally agreed with whatever his girlfriend decided.
Amelia was about to step forward when Jeremy grabbed her arm.
“Hold on.” He crouched down and took off his sneakers along with his socks.
“The rocks are cold and slippery.”
Before Amelia could react, he scooped her up in his arms.
Total boyfriend material!
“What are you doing? Put me down!”
“The water’s cold. I’ll come back for the stuff later.”
It was only a few steps to the other side anyway.
No matter how far it was, he definitely wouldn’t let her get her feet wet.
As he spoke, he shifted her onto his back and carefully stepped into the stream.
The water really wasn’t deep-it only came up to his ankles-but the pebbles at the bottom dug into his feet a little.
Still, he walked steadily, careful not to jostle the person on his back.
Amelia wrapped her arms around his neck, her cheek resting against his broad back. She could clearly feel his steady heartbeat and the warmth of his body.
The slight awkwardness from earlier gradually faded, replaced by an inexplicable sense of security and a flutter in her heart.

Comments
The readers' comments on the novel: The Heiress They Couldn't Break (Amelia and Jeremy)
I'm starting not to like Josie's character. If any man did all the things she's doing, they'd be considered creepy. This version of Josie is giving me the ick....
Does the novel ends in chapter 716 or is it still ongoing?...
Absolutely beautiful!...
Oh my! I really like Whitney (Jeremy's mum). She's so down to earth. She didn't even acknowledge Sabrina's presence....
I don't know what's with this new writer, but they are only making things worse. Gianna does in fact know how to ride a horse. She's had lessons and she even had a race with Amelia where she threw nails on the track to cheat. Gianna fell in the mud and was embarrassed when they pulled the cameras at a riding club owned by Jeremy....
Why did Cloudspire Estate change from a house to an apartment? Why is the writer acting like Jeremy does not own the property and he is not the one that allowed Amelia stay there? I hate when the writer does not remember what they wrote....
This is chapter 51 again when it should be chapter 52. Please fix for future readers....
New chapters please. If Amelia doesn’t end up with Jeremy I’m going to cry...
New chapters please....
