Chapter 575 Social Media
To her surprise, when Amelia opened the tent flap, she saw a soft glow.
Finished
Squinting, she realized it was a small, clear glass bottle filled with fireflies, their tiny bodies. blinking gently.
She froze for a second, then instantly understood.
Picking up the glowing bottle, she smiled as warmth spread through her chest.
“That idiot couldn’t sleep and went to catch these, huh?” she muttered.
She knew exactly why he’d done it.
Smiling, she brought the bottle into the tent and zipped it shut.
In the pitch-dark tent, that soft glow flowed like light into the darkest corner of her heart.
It made her feel safe and warm.
Jeremy really knew how to do small romantic gestures.
Before she realized it, she finally drifted into a deep sleep.
Jeremy didn’t head back to his tent right away. After making sure Amelia was almost asleep, he turned and sat down on a chair-nearby.
“Why are you still up?”
As he sat, he noticed his friend was also awake, scrolling on his phone late into the night.
Harrison was so absorbed that he only noticed Jeremy when he spoke, startled into instinctively closing out of his social media feed.
“Wow, whose page were you stalking that hard? You looked nervous. I’ve been here a while, and you didn’t even notice.”
It was rare for Jeremy to tease that much at once.
He’d happened to catch a glimpse earlier. Harrison had clearly been scrolling through some woman’s posts,
“You just sat down. Don’t exaggerate.”
“Sure. So who was it? Amelia’s friend?”

Chapter 575 Social Media
“Stop talking nonsense.” Harrison denied it instantly. “Since when are you this nosy?”
Seeing that classic guilty reaction, Jeremy snorted..
“Before people fall in love, they usually go through a phase like that.”
Jeremy picked up an unopened beer from the table, took a sip, and spoke like someone experienced.
And he did have experience.
Back when he first followed Amelia on Instagram, he’d also scrolled through her posts.
He did it again and again, never getting tired of it.
Back then, he hadn’t even realized he liked her. He’d told himself he was just curious, just killing time.
“Give it a rest. That trick doesn’t work on me,” Harrison said, opening his beer.
The two men chatted casually for a bit.
Jeremy’s gaze drifted toward a tent close to Amelia’s-the one belonging to Josie.
The light inside was still on, clearly showing she was awake and scrolling on her phone.
Suddenly, he thought that if his future wife’s best friend ended up with his buddy, that wouldn’t be bad at all.
It’d be even more useful if he ever annoyed his wife. He’d have an extra ally.
“Look at Ms. Hutton’s tent,” Jeremy said. “It’s tiny and basic. It’s getting cold tonight. Don’t you think you should be a little considerate?”
“What do you mean?” Harrison asked, confused.
“That tent can’t be comfortable. You really don’t get it?”
Harrison paused, then suddenly caught on.
“Tsk. Guys with girlfriends really are different. You’re way too thoughtful.”
“I’m only thoughtful to Amelia. I don’t care about anyone else.”
Harrison fell silent,

He felt as if he didn’t do something now, he wouldn’t even qualify as a man.
He decided to blame whatever he was about to do on Jeremy’s instigation, not his own choice.
Harrison stood up and walked toward the light-colored tent.
He knocked lightly.
Soon, Josie unzipped it and peeked out.
Her slightly wavy short hair made her look playful and cute.
“What’s up?”
“Uh…” Harrison cleared his throat, sounding stiff. “Your tent is too small. It’s cold at night. You should sleep in my tent instead.”
“Oh?” She raised an eyebrow, blinking her big eyes.
By then, Harrison already had his blanket in hand. “I don’t want you catching a cold and having your best friend blame me.”
“Oh.” Josie pursed her lips as she got it.
She didn’t hesitate at all. Grabbing her blanket, she headed straight for his larger tent.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Heiress They Couldn't Break (Amelia and Jeremy)
I'm starting not to like Josie's character. If any man did all the things she's doing, they'd be considered creepy. This version of Josie is giving me the ick....
Does the novel ends in chapter 716 or is it still ongoing?...
Absolutely beautiful!...
Oh my! I really like Whitney (Jeremy's mum). She's so down to earth. She didn't even acknowledge Sabrina's presence....
I don't know what's with this new writer, but they are only making things worse. Gianna does in fact know how to ride a horse. She's had lessons and she even had a race with Amelia where she threw nails on the track to cheat. Gianna fell in the mud and was embarrassed when they pulled the cameras at a riding club owned by Jeremy....
Why did Cloudspire Estate change from a house to an apartment? Why is the writer acting like Jeremy does not own the property and he is not the one that allowed Amelia stay there? I hate when the writer does not remember what they wrote....
This is chapter 51 again when it should be chapter 52. Please fix for future readers....
New chapters please. If Amelia doesn’t end up with Jeremy I’m going to cry...
New chapters please....
