Amelia listened to all the compliments, knowing they were sincere, not just polite words.

The whole point of the trip was to help employees relax and feel a sense of belonging.

Since feedback was so positive, she naturally credited Josie.

“That’s nothing. Next time, I’ll pick an even better spot. This is my thing,” Josie said, nudging Amelia’s arm with a confident grin.

After speaking, she deliberately glanced at Harrison in the distance. “And Mr. Ramley has to come next time.”

“Of course. I’ll make sure he does. From now on, all team-building events are your domain.”

As her best friend, Amelia got exactly what Josie meant.

She’d give her full

support and help.

Just as they were chatting happily, a very familiar voice cut in abruptly.

It was Gianna.

Amelia and Josie went back and forth easily, tearing Gianna down without effort.

She wasn’t even worth to be called an opponent.

Gianna, who’d thought that not addressing Amelia warmly would leave them with nothing to attack, was left completely speechless.

“I never said you couldn’t come. Why are you overreacting? Or is it because you lack confidence in front of me?”

Though furious inside, Gianna forced herself to appear calm and composed.

Her mother had told her that if she wanted to dominate the vibe, she had to stay composed.

Gianna’s face went from red to pale. She hadn’t expected Josie to call her out so bluntly.

Her fingers dug into her palms, still forcing a calm look.

“I just don’t think we need to be hostile right away.”
