The Heiress They Couldn't Break (Amelia and Jeremy) novel Chapter 627

Chapter 627 Romantic Surprise

Josie muttered to herself. It was still early, and she was too excited to go home, so she started thinking about where to have some fun.

Meanwhile, after asking the driver to send Perry and Hayley home, Harrison planned to go home and rest. But before he even parked his car, he saw a message from Jeremy.

“Come out for a drink?”

It was rare for this man, who usually only followed Amelia around, to invite Harrison out first.

Of course Harrison didn’t refuse.

He asked the driver to make a quick U-turn and head to the location Jeremy sent.

When Harrison arrived, he tossed his car keys onto the counter and sat down casually.

Then he grabbed a glass of alcohol and took a drink.

“Wow, are you at your second round tonight?” Anderson said. He was Jeremy’s good friend and also close with Harrison.

As soon as Harrison sat down, Anderson smelled alcohol on him. Clearly this wasn’t his first drink.

“He just came back from a blind date, so obviously not,” Jeremy said coolly.

“A blind date?” Anderson looked confused. He clearly didn’t know.

“Haha, you’re pretty quick with the news. It looks like you and Ms. Amelia talk every day without fail.”

Harrison immediately understood how Jeremy knew so much.

So, Jeremy had been messaging Amelia all the time.

No wonder she always had her phone in hand whenever Harrison went to meetings or stopped by her office. She was constantly texting Jeremy.

They were really sweet in their honeymoon phase.

“Of course. We never run out of things to talk about,” Jeremy said proudly, not embarrassed at all.

“Seems like tonight isn’t good for chatting. I should go home,” Harrison said as he stood up to leave.

He felt he shouldn’t hang out with Jeremy too much lately. Being near a man in love was dangerous for a single guy.

“Hey, don’t go. Sit down. We need to talk about something important,” Anderson quickly pulled him back into his seat.

“What important thing?” Harrison asked.

“It’s about the Boss. Ms. Nygard’s birthday is coming soon. Boss wants us to think of a good way to celebrate it.”

After Anderson spoke, Jeremy smiled and gave him a thumbs-up.

Reliable as always.

Anderson nodded, gestured for calm, then turned to Harrison again. “Boss wants to surprise his girlfriend. Any ideas?”

“You want a single man to plan a romantic surprise?” Harrison said with a faint smile.

“You probably won’t be single for long,” Jeremy reminded him with a grin.

Harrison said nothing.

Anderson cleared his throat and gave the first idea. “I checked out the new Starlight Art Gallery on the west side of town. They have a hologram theater.

“They do custom star maps. You could highlight Ms. Nygard’s birthday and the day you first met as the brightest stars in the sky, then play a confession you recorded…”

Harrison tapped the table with his fingers and suddenly interrupted. “Holograms are too common. A rich girl’s birthday party used that last month.”

Jeremy nodded. “And the gallery has lots of people. If paparazzi take photos, it’ll be bad.”

Anderson scratched his head in frustration. “Then what? We can’t rent an entire amusement park and set off fireworks like old times, right?”

Those words made Harrison suddenly sit up straight. He remembered Amelia saying a few days ago that she wanted to visit the firefly conservation park outside the city, but she had been busy with overtime work.

The fireflies he caught for her on his last camping trip had already died.

“I got it.” A meaningful smile appeared on Harrison’s lips. “Next month the firefly conservation park has a ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’ public observation event. We can…”

He lowered his voice and whispered a few sentences to them. Both nodded repeatedly in agreement.

“That’s nice and unique. Much better than sending tons of flowers or projecting love confessions on tall buildings.” Anderson said.

Although Anderson was single, he was experienced in romance and had many friends.

He was already tired of those old-fashioned parties, even though others still loved them.
