“I won’t waste my breath. Everyone, please look at the big screen. I’ll project the original video and the real dialogue for you all to see.”
The reason Amelia hadn’t immediately thrown out the recordings and footage she’d long prepared was simple-she wanted everyone to witness Sabrina’s hypocrisy firsthand.
The more someone insisted on playing pure, wronged, and pitiful, the more brutal the slap would be when that mask was torn away.
A real, ringing slap-one after another.
Inside the necklace Amelia was wearing sat a tiny pinhole camera, perfectly positioned to capture her earlier conversation with Sabrina, along with every subtle shift in her expression.
She methodically adjusted her phone, preparing to cast the screen, while Sabrina’s composure finally cracked.
She had never imagined this cunning woman would leave herself such an escape route.
What now—what if Amelia wasn’t bluffing at all, what if she really had recorded everything?
Wouldn’t everything I’d so painstakingly built collapse in a single instant?
In that very moment, the color drained from Sabrina’s face.
Just then, the ambulance arrived.
The paramedics quickly administered emergency first aid to Nydia before lifting her onto the stretcher and rushing her to the hospital.
Naturally, Cora moved to follow the ambulance.
“Brielle, let’s go to the hospital with them,” she urged.
At that instant, Sabrina seized upon what felt like the perfect excuse.
She could leave for now, then figure out a way to salvage the situation-or seek out Esmond to break the deadlock.
Unfortunately for her, Amelia had no intention of letting her slip away. She stepped forward, blocking Sabrina’s path.
“Ms. Sabrina, after smearing me like that, you plan to just walk away?”

“I know you think I’m being unreasonable, but my aunt’s life is on the line-I have to go with her,” Sabrina replied, her face full of dutiful concern.
“I’m worried about Aunt Nydia, too. I personally gave her the pill-she’ll be stable for now.
“I’ll also have people follow along, and Cora is going as well. You don’t need to worry so much- and proving my innocence won’t take more than a few minutes.”
The implication was unmistakable: she had to stay, and once things were clarified, she would to the hospital afterward.
“That’s right. The Nygards will go as well-we’ll take full responsibility,”
“Yes. If there’s any problem, the Nygards will shoulder it completely.”
At that moment, Marcelo and Miguel stepped forward with perfect timing, staking both themselves and the family’s reputation as a guarantee.
Maxwell stayed behind with his sister, ready to support her if anything went wrong.
Amelia gave them a rare look of approval-at least they were finally being useful.
“But you-”
“No ‘buts.’ What, feeling guilty now? Trying to run?”
Amelia cut Sabrina off before she could finish.
“Who are you calling guilty?” Brielle snapped back angrily.
“I’m talking about your cousin. If she’s not, then stay and see the truth unfold.”
Amelia welcomed the interruption from this single-minded woman-it suited her perfectly.
“Fine! We’ll stay! It won’t take long anyway. I want to see you try to lie your way out of this!”
Brielle rose to the bait instantly.
“You-” Sabrina blurted out, silently cursing that useless idiot.
Who gave her the right to decide this on her own? Sabrina hadn’t agreed to anything yet.
“Fine. Then watch carefully,” Amelia said coolly.
“I’ll watch!” Brielle shot back with confidence, then turned to her cousin and thumped her chest.

“Sabrina, I won’t let you suffer in silence and swallow this alone. We’ll all see what ‘evidence’ she can actually produce.”
Sabrina was utterly speechless.
You’re a damned, useless fool.
Now that she’d been dragged into staying by Brielle’s stupidity, backing out would only make her look guilty and afraid.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Heiress They Couldn't Break (Amelia and Jeremy)
I'm starting not to like Josie's character. If any man did all the things she's doing, they'd be considered creepy. This version of Josie is giving me the ick....
Does the novel ends in chapter 716 or is it still ongoing?...
Absolutely beautiful!...
Oh my! I really like Whitney (Jeremy's mum). She's so down to earth. She didn't even acknowledge Sabrina's presence....
I don't know what's with this new writer, but they are only making things worse. Gianna does in fact know how to ride a horse. She's had lessons and she even had a race with Amelia where she threw nails on the track to cheat. Gianna fell in the mud and was embarrassed when they pulled the cameras at a riding club owned by Jeremy....
Why did Cloudspire Estate change from a house to an apartment? Why is the writer acting like Jeremy does not own the property and he is not the one that allowed Amelia stay there? I hate when the writer does not remember what they wrote....
This is chapter 51 again when it should be chapter 52. Please fix for future readers....
New chapters please. If Amelia doesn’t end up with Jeremy I’m going to cry...
New chapters please....
