The Heiress They Couldn't Break (Amelia and Jeremy) novel Chapter 668

Chapter 668 As Long As You Like It

Finished

When he saw the massive photos covering the exterior walls of buildings across the entire city, along with the bold line, “Jeremy Curran loves Amelia Nygard forever!”, his expression darkened instantly.

The last scraps of hope and fantasy he still held shattered completely, leaving nothing behind.

The elaborate display he had been so proud of looked laughable and cheap in comparison to this kind of lavishly funded romance.

He could even hear the scorn in the surrounding crowd toward his earlier confession, and the awe and praise directed at Jeremy’s so-called “confession of the century.”

The contrast made him furious and deeply unwilling to accept it.

Before he could open his mouth to plead his case, a tall, upright figure walked in.

“Amelia, I’m here to pick you up.”

The speaker was Jeremy, walking over while holding a “bouquet” packed full of plush dolls.

Amelia froze for a moment when she saw him, then her face lit up with pure joy.

‘Why are you here?” She took the “bouquet,” smiling brightly. “Thank you, I love it!”

‘Hey, aren’t these all the hidden edition Labubu plushies? Those are super hard to get!”

Josie blurted out the moment she realized what the “bouquet” actually was. “I’m so jealous. I want them

too!”

‘If you want one, just have Harrison get it for you,” Amelia teased her in high spirits.

‘Hmph. That jerk has way too much self-control. Once I win him over, I’m definitely making him buy it for me.”

Totally unbothered by Amelia’s teasing, Josie owned it with zero shame. Then she shot a snide look at Vincent Dester, who now looked like a clown.

“Take notes, would you? Give what she actually wants. Flowers are basic and boring.”

Her words made Vincent’s already dark expression look like it was about to crack.

Josie had zero sympathy for him.

A man who knew perfectly well that someone was already taken and still tried to force his way in deserved no pity at all.

“As long as you like it,” Jeremy said, pulling Amelia into his arms. Then he looked straight at Vincent and added, “My woman is not someone you get to covet.”

His voice was lethal, like it had been dipped in poison. It sent a chill down Vincent’s spine.

The moment Jeremy found out that this delusional man had dared to set his sights on his woman, and even blasted his confession across the entire city, there was no way he was going to sit back and do nothing.

He personally stepped in and planned an even more refined, more polished declaration for Amelia.

He had deliberately taken Vincent’s approach and upgraded it.

He wanted to beat Vincent at his own “brilliant” idea.

‘Amelia, are you satisfied with the surprise I planned?” Jeremy asked, looking at her.

Of course she knew exactly what he was thinking. Amelia immediately nodded obediently. “I love it. I really, really love it!”

This petty man was clearly jealous.

“Then do you like me?”

‘Yes, I like you. I only want to be with you in this lifetime.”

Men needed their dignity preserved in public.

Especially after a lunatic like Vincent pulled something like this, her own man was bound to feel uncomfortable.

So Amelia played along tactfully, acting sweet and coaxing him.

Jeremy was extremely pleased by her affection and deliberate reassurance. The grin on his face grew wider.

‘Let’s go home.”

With that, he took his future wife by the hand, did not spare Vincent even a single glance, and walked away

without hesitation.

Before leaving, Amelia looked back at her Josie once again, her eyes filled with a hint of apology.

Josie understood immediately and nodded with complete understanding, silently urging her to leave quickly and not let disgusting people ruin her mood.

Josie was not upset at all about being abandoned halfway through the dinner. If it were her, she would have wanted to leave just as badly.

There was no reason to stay and continue being disgusted.

After Amelia and Jeremy left, Josie had all the food packed up and walked out with her head held high.

Just like Amelia, she did not want to look at Vincent even once.

Vincent stood frozen in place, the smile wiped clean from his face. The affection he’d put on earlier vanished without a trace, leaving only raw humiliation and a stormy, livid expression.
