Now that the real Sabrina had finally been brought back, Cora and Nydia invited Amelia over to help her recover.
"Ms. Jordan's condition is mostly due to long-term lack of exercise and poor nutrition, plus emotional stress. That's why she's physically weak.
"As long as she continues proper treatment, exercises more, and does things that make her happy, she'll gradually get better."
After examining her and seeing the effect of the prescribed herbal formula over the past few days, a bit of color had finally returned to Sabrina's face.
"Good thing it's only physical weakness. There aren't any external injuries."
That meant during those dark, endless days locked in that windowless room, she hadn't been beaten or physically abused.
Otherwise, the damage would've gone far beyond the physical.
"Hmph. Good thing that imposter didn't dare go that far. Otherwise, she wouldn't just be facing jail time, trust me."
Nydia snorted coldly, her hatred for that vicious woman running bone-deep.
But Amelia didn't see it quite that way, because she knew the fake "Sabrina" hadn't been the one pulling the strings.
Esmond had been the one directing her.
And the reason he hadn't harmed the real Sabrina wasn't necessarily because he saw her as family, or out of respect for the late Paul.
Amelia suspected he was simply afraid that injuring the real Sabrina would damage her value for future experiments.
Sabrina had clearly been treated as experimental material too—just not yet activated, more like a backup.
Amelia couldn't expose Esmond's true face to Nydia and Cora. After all, he was one of the Jordans, their own flesh and blood.
On top of that, she didn't have concrete evidence to report him yet, so she chose not to tell them at this moment.
But the day the truth came out wasn't far off.
She and Jeremy had already cast a wide net and were waiting patiently.
Soon enough, the fish would bite.
And when that happened, everything would finally settle. Amelia gathered her thoughts, withdrew the fingers resting on Sabrina's wrist, and spoke gently.
"Emotional wounds need emotional healing. Taking care of your body matters, but the knot in your heart has to be untied too. What's happened has already happened. Try to let it stay in the past.
"You're back with your family now. They love you very much. From here on out, live for yourself. Think about things that make you happy."
"Okay. I understand. Thank you." Sabrina smiled shyly, her voice soft and even.
This was the real Sabrina.
He was willing to speak up in front of the family now.
Especially around the people he loved and trusted, he would not only take the initiative to talk, but his words would come more smoothly each time.
"Of course. I'd be very happy to be good friends with Ms. Pretty."
Sabrina smiled knowingly and reached up to gently ruffle her brother's hair, her eyes brimming with affection.
Then she turned to Brielle, who had been standing quietly beside her the entire time, practically fading into the background.
Under normal circumstances, Brielle would've been the loudest and most dramatic one in the room.
Now, she was as silent as a decorative vase, because she'd finally realized just how wrong she had been.
Especially after catching Sabrina's subtle glance urging her forward, she instinctively shrank her neck, nerves fluttering in her chest.
But Sabrina had hinted at her more than once, and the atmosphere right now was warm and harmonious. She couldn't keep hiding forever.
Taking a deep breath, Brielle straightened her back, gathered her courage, walked over to Amelia, and blurted out in one rush:
"Um… Amelia, I-I need to tell you something. I misunderstood you before. I'm really sorry.
"I was stupid and got fooled by that imposter. She egged me on to target you, and I said so many awful things to you. I'm really, really sorry."

The readers' comments on the novel: The Heiress They Couldn't Break (Amelia and Jeremy)
I'm starting not to like Josie's character. If any man did all the things she's doing, they'd be considered creepy. This version of Josie is giving me the ick....
Does the novel ends in chapter 716 or is it still ongoing?...
Absolutely beautiful!...
Oh my! I really like Whitney (Jeremy's mum). She's so down to earth. She didn't even acknowledge Sabrina's presence....
I don't know what's with this new writer, but they are only making things worse. Gianna does in fact know how to ride a horse. She's had lessons and she even had a race with Amelia where she threw nails on the track to cheat. Gianna fell in the mud and was embarrassed when they pulled the cameras at a riding club owned by Jeremy....
Why did Cloudspire Estate change from a house to an apartment? Why is the writer acting like Jeremy does not own the property and he is not the one that allowed Amelia stay there? I hate when the writer does not remember what they wrote....
This is chapter 51 again when it should be chapter 52. Please fix for future readers....
New chapters please. If Amelia doesn’t end up with Jeremy I’m going to cry...
