ARIA’S POV
My eyes fluttered shut before I could stop myself.

I didn’t even realize when it happened. One second I was standing there, tense and overwhelmed from Julian’s heat and how his body was practically on mine and the next minute, Julian’s knee shifted slightly.
Not rough. Not forceful. Just… deliberate. A slow, subtle pressure that sent a sharp wave of sensation through me. His knee rubbed against my clit and I felt a wave of pleasure run through me. My breath hitched.
My fingers tightened around the mug, my entire body going still as something unfamiliar unraveled inside me. Heat spread through my core, low, deep, and impossible to ignore.
I didn’t understand it. I didn’t understand why my body was reacting this way. I had never felt this way and the pleasure was impossible to ignore.

But I couldn’t for the love of God, stop it either. “Julian…” His name slipped past my lips before I could catch it. Soft. Barely above a whisper. But the moment it left me, I realized what I had done. I had just moaned out Julian’s name.
My eyes snapped open. And just like that, he stepped back. The space between us returned so suddenly it felt cold. Like I had been dropped back into reality.
My chest rose and fell unevenly as I stared at him, my face burning with embarrassment. What just happened? What had I just done? Julian watched me for a second.
His expression was unreadable. Then slowly… a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. “Careful,” he said quietly. My heart skipped. “You’re becoming a bad girl.”
My breath caught again. Before I could respond, before I could even gather my thoughts, he turned and walked away. Just like that. Leaving me there with my back pressed against the wall, my thighs still tense and that unfamiliar ache still lingering in my body.
I slid down slowly, crouching near the couch as I buried my face in my hands. “Oh my God…” My face felt like it was on fire. What was wrong with me?
How did I let that happen? Worse, why didn’t I want him to stop? The thought alone made my stomach twist. It felt wrong. Completely wrong. But at the same time… It had felt right.
Too right. And that scared me more than anything. I reached for the book quickly and shut it, like the pages themselves were to blame. Then I stayed there for a moment longer, trying to calm my racing heart.
Trying and failing to steady my thoughts.
A while later, a knock on the door broke the silence.
I blinked, still a little dazed, before pushing myself up and heading toward it. When I opened the door, Blake stood there, looking as relaxed as ever.

“Well, hello,” he said with a grin. “You look flustered.”
My face heated again. “I’m not.”

“Sure,” he said, clearly unconvinced. I stepped aside to let him in. Blake walked in like he owned the place, glancing around casually before turning back to me.
“Are you feeling better?” he asked.
“Yeah… much better.”
“Good,” he said, then paused as his gaze settled on me. A small smile formed on his lips. “You look good, by the way.”
I blinked. “Uh… thank you.”
“Seriously,” he added lightly. “Julian’s been hiding you. That’s not fair.”
I let out a small, awkward laugh. “I don’t think…”
“You don’t think that what?” Blake’s voice was playful, but before I could answer, a familiar presence filled the room. Julian. I turned to look at him.
He stood at the entrance of the living room, now fully changed into dry clothes. His hair was still slightly damp, but his usual composed, controlled look had returned. Except for one thing.
His expression. He was frowning. Hard. His gaze locked onto Blake first. Then slowly shifted to me. “What did you just say?” Julian asked.
Blake didn’t even look bothered. “I said she looks good.”
Julian’s jaw tightened. “That’s not something you need to comment on.”
I blinked, surprised. Blake let out a short laugh. “Oh, relax,” he said. “It’s a compliment, not a marriage proposal.”
Julian didn’t look amused. “You’re a bad influence.”
Blake placed a hand over his chest dramatically.
“Wow. That hurts.”
“It should.” I couldn’t help it and I let out a small laugh. The tension eased slightly. Blake shot me a wink.
“See? She agrees with me.” Julian shot him a look. Then the two of them started talking. At first it was light. Jokes. Back and forth banter. But slowly… the tone shifted.
Their conversation became more serious. They started talking about things I didn’t understand.
Hockey. Business. Deals. Numbers. I stood there for a while, trying to follow along.
