Holding her breath, Vivica crept to the door, which was slightly ajar. The playful sounds were clearer now.

It was Riley's voice, sickly sweet enough to make one gag.

"That sensitive? I haven't even brought out my best moves yet," Fletcher replied, his voice oozing with sleaze.

"What best moves? You're just bragging..."

"You don't believe me? Let's find out."

"Are you sure? This is your bed with Vivica..."

Their nauseating banter faded, replaced by the unmistakable, intimate sounds of kissing.

Vivica stood frozen outside the door. Though she had braced herself, an undeniable ache pierced her chest, making her hand tremble as she held the phone.
