In a blind panic, Sylvie swung back, slapping Owen across the face so hard he stumbled backward several steps in shock.

Lifting her chin haughtily, Sylvie leveled a threat at him. "This is a school. You dare lay a hand on me in front of my classmates? I know my dad gave you permission to discipline me, but you are nothing but a driver for our family! Don't actually think you can teach me a lesson! Now go get the car! Do you want to make the Sutton family a laughingstock in front of everyone?"

Every word out of her mouth was a frantic reminder that they were at school and people were watching.

Seeing this, Owen, despite boiling with rage, could do nothing but turn and storm off in a huff.
