“This is everything?” asked, scanning the directory.
“Everything I could gather without getting killed.” He pointed to specific folders. “Hunter cell locations, known operatives, weapons specifications, funding sources.”
“Funding sources?”
“The Covenant gets money from somewhere. Old family wealth, probably, but I couldn’t trace it all.” He pulled up financial records. “What I did find suggests they have connections to certain government agencies. Black budget operations that officially don’t exist.”

“How do we win against that?” I asked quietly.
“You don’t win. You survive long enough to expose them.” Torres pulled up more files. “That’s the key. They operate in secrecy. If we force them into the light, make their activities public, they lose their biggest
advantage.”
“And risk exposing all supernatural beings to humanity.”
“Better exposed than extinct.” He met my eyes. “The Covenant won’t stop with our Daughters. Once they

Adrian had been listening quietly. Now he spoke. “Unless we destroy them first.”
“How?” I asked.
“The same way we handled Harrison. Intelligence, strategy, turning their own tactics against them.” He
pulled out his phone. “I have contacts in the human world. Private security, corporate intelligence, people
who owe me favors. We build our own network, gather our own intelligence.”
“That’s dangerous,” Torres warned. “The Covenant has infiltrated multiple agencies. They’ll know if you start asking questions.”
“Let them know. Let them worry.” Adrian’s smile was cold. “They think supernatural beings are scattered, disorganized, easy targets. Time to prove them wrong.”

“Call Elena back from up north. We need everyone here.” I stood, my decision made. “We’re not running. We’re not hiding. We’re taking the fight to them.”
“You’re six months pregnant, Katherine reminded me from the doorway.
“Which gives me three months to dismantle a centuries–old hunter organization before my daughter is born.” I touched my belly. “She’s not coming into a world where Daughters have to hide. Not if I can help it.”
“That’s ambitious even for you,” Marcus said.
“Then it’s a good thing I have help.” I looked around at my allies. “Three months to find the Covenant cells. Expose their operations. Cut off their funding. And make sure every supernatural being knows what’s coming.”
“And if we can’t do it in three months?” Torres asked.
“Then we do it in four. Or five. However long it takes.” I met their eyes. “I conquered death once. I can conquer a bunch of humans with god complexes.”
Adrian laughed. “There’s the Alpha I fell in love with.”
“She never left. She was just resting.” I smiled despite everything. “Now let’s figure out how to hunt the
hunters.”
