The Moment I Stepped Into His World as the Fake Girlfriend, I Became the Real Prize novel Chapter 31

Inside the car, the moment Sterling Hawthorne heard that Lydia Lansbury was being bullied, he reached for the door handle.

"I know you're anxious, but hold on a second."

The next moment, Elena Larkin reached out and stopped him.

Meeting the young man's puzzled look, Elena chuckled softly and reminded him. "Master Sterling, don't forget why you brought me to campus in the first place."

For a few seconds, Elena was utterly speechless, staring at the young man with a newfound sense of awe.

Sterling flushed under her intense gaze and couldn't help but explain himself. "It sounds a bit exaggerated. It's really just a total of all the big and small confessions combined. A few of them were pretty casual, so they probably shouldn't even count."

Elena was speechless.

It didn't sound exaggerated at all.

To put it nicely, the guy was sincere, passionate, and possessed a rare, genuine heart.

To put it bluntly, he was utterly lovesick and beyond saving.

"But Lydia..."
