“You bet he does. You all have to beat her record now.” Justin said.
But Eric was laying on the ground, looking like he was about to die. It was pretty funny to see actually.
He was beaten by a girl and he is always going around talking about how tough he is. He’s not as tough as he thinks he is.
“Suck shit Eric.” Lilly yelled from the ground.
“Fuck you.” He said with barely any effort in it.
“Alright. You two go for it now and let these two rest.” Justin said.
So Jesse and I did the obstacle course which we turned into a competition but we still didn’t make the 12 minutes.
Lilly really was something else.
When we were finally finished for the day, we went to get some dinner and I saw that Lilly always sits in the same chair. Right at the end of the table, not talking to anyone else at the table. But I sat at the end of the table that faced her and we started eating dinner.
“So, how come those girls are always giving you a dirty look?” I asked. But she just shrugged her shoulders.
“I don’t know. I only got here the day before you. So I’m still an outsider. And I think you giving me attention and not them is pissing them off.” She said honestly.
“Well, they can suck it up. I don’t want to talk to them. They look like assholes anyway.” I said. And she scoffed.
“I’m starting to think that they are.” She said.
We ate dinner pretty quickly and then headed back to the bunk house where we showered, and I made sure that I kept my back to Lilly the whole time.
I didn’t want her to get the wrong idea about me.
They are communal showers and they don't have shower curtains. They were just stalls, but since I kept my back to her, I wasn’t sure what she was looking at.
“Are there any questions?” Stevens asked.
“Can I ask you what pack we’re attacking?” I asked.
“Freedom Runners pack.” Stevens said. And I nodded my head.
“Alright. You’ve got half an hour. I’ll meet you out there.” Justin said, leaving the bunk house.
So we all got dressed and I sat on the other side of my bunk, facing towards Jesse.
“You know what to do.” I whispered.
“Don’t worry. I’ve got it covered.” He whispered back.
