It’s been two weeks now and Justin still hadn’t eased up on me at all. I didn’t understand what the hell his problem was and he wasn’t talking to me. He was just barking out orders. I was getting more and more pissed off as each day passed.
I have passed the days where I was confused. I didn’t care anymore. Now I’m just pissed off.
He was making me work all day on the obstacle course, or in the shooting gallery, or training with other weapons where sometimes I was the target and I had to avoid what he was throwing at me and in the gym in hand to hand combat.
I felt myself getting stronger though. And that’s when Justin stopped getting into fights with me and he would order me to do more complex things. Like with the obstacle course. He altered it to make it harder, but he still wanted me to finish it in less than 10 minutes.
I still haven’t been able to do that.
I didn’t think he would have been able to make it more complex but apparently it’s not unusual for them to change it like that. They do it all the time, but they let people get used to it before they set a time limit. And all these courses that they have also have different time limits because some take longer than others. But he didn’t care about that. He was still forcing me to do this course in less time than the easier one.
He was trying to prove that I couldn’t do it. And he was just torturing me at this point.
There were several times when I had to tell Ben to back off. He was gonna go after Justin, but I told him not to.
I said that I could handle it. I wasn’t going to let that son of a bitch break me.
So Ben had to stand back and watch. But he couldn’t watch most of the time, so he just went to do other things while I was training.
I told him that was probably for the best anyway. I didn’t want him watching me.
Ben walked over to him but I stood back as he leaned over Justin.
“Now, you’re gonna leave Lilly alone. Because she definitely never did anything to deserve this sort of treatment. And if you don’t, I’m going to report you. And I don’t mean to the Captain. I’ll go above his head because we all know that you’re his little pet. So leave her the hell alone.” Ben said, looking over Justin.
I was standing back a good 10 feet while Ben talked really low, so how the hell was I able to hear him?
Jesse and Eric tried to pull me out of the room but I stood there staring at Ben and Justin, but they managed to drag me out.
They took me to the mess hall and made sure that there was plenty of food there. It was almost dinner, but no one else had arrived yet so I filled my tray as high up as I possibly could.
