The Omega and The Arrogant Alpha (by Kylie) novel Chapter 188

But he needed to get me out of the base last night. I couldn’t shift in front of all those people in the bunk house.

I’d be dead now for sure.

Stevens finally turned around and he nodded his head at Justin.

So Justin walked over and opened the door.

Two guards walked in with Morgan. It looks like she’d been in a pretty horrendous battle, but she was still looking alright considering.

She was walking and she was glaring at everyone except for me.

“I believe you two have met.” Stevens said.

“Luna Morgan. The one that stopped me from collecting that artifact at her pack.” I said.

“You know that was a load of bullshit, right? The orb that they sent you to get isn’t what they wanted.” Morgan said.

“What’s she talking about?” I asked.

“They just wanted me to see you. So it would distract me so they could attack my pack while I wasn’t there. Because they knew that I would be looking for you.” Morgan said.

“Pretend like we’ve never met before.” Morgan’s voice flitted through my head.

“Why would it matter if we met or not?” I asked. And Morgan looked at me strangely.

“You still don’t know who you are. That doesn’t surprise me. What’s better than a wolf hunting wolves?” Morgan asked.

“Wolf?” I asked.

“You’re doing great. Keep it up.” Chyler urged me on.

“You two really don’t know each other. They were held up in a cabin not far from here. They were wanting to get you out of here.” Stevens said.

“Why would I go with them? I don’t know them.” I said.

“Well, you will. Soon enough.” He said.

I was then escorted from Stevens office and we were taken past another room that was full of children. No parents, just children.

And I looked at the women that were in there with those children, trying to care for them. They all looked very familiar to me. Because they are the ones that raised me on the army bases for the first few years of my life.

They’re going to do to these kids what they did to me. They are going to turn them into Hunters and force them to kill their own kind.

I was forced to keep moving after I saw those kids in that room and I was taken out the front of the building.

Ben was waiting for me out there and he could see that something was wrong with me. I was whiter than usual and I was really shocked about everything that I just saw.

“What’s going on?” He asked as we started to walk away.

“They’ve got Morgan.” I said as we kept walking.
