The Omega and The Arrogant Alpha (by Kylie) novel Chapter 202

“Yeah. I think I will do that. It was very nice to finally meet you. I know that your mother has been waiting for this day for way too long.” Avery said, shaking my hand.

She took off towards the packhouse and Ben continued the tour through the pack.

He showed me around all the stores and there were so many people that wanted to come over and meet me.

They knew who I was without me being introduced to them and they were all so kind to me.

I wasn’t expecting this sort of reception at all. I thought they would be really mad at me or they wouldn’t want anything to do with me. I was really scared about that. But they all seemed so welcoming.

It didn’t change the fact that every time I looked at the campsite I got a twinge of guilt in my stomach.

I knew that I was partly to blame for this and it wasn’t something that I could just live with.

I didn’t want to live with it. I knew that I needed to make it right with them.

I just wasn’t sure what I could do. Maybe that’s something I could talk to Aiden and Cooper about.

When we got back to the packhouse I was introduced to Jane who was the nanny for the kids and then I finally met Max, Oscar and Octavia.

I had been told that they were my brothers and sister, but when I knelt down to talk to them I couldn’t help but stare at Octavia.

The boys were screaming for my attention and I was giving them as much as I could, but seeing Octavia was the first time this was really feeling real for me.

I’ve seen photos of myself when I was a kid. Whoever I was living with at the time had taken photos and I had seen them over the years.

Octavia looks just like I did when I was her age.

I couldn’t believe how similar we are.

When I finished with the shower Ben went to have one and I sat on the side of the bed looking out the window at the moon.

When he came back into the bedroom he climbed across the bed behind me and he started kissing me on the neck.

“What are you looking at?” He asked.

“I’ve never seen the moon look so big.” I said.

“The Moon Goddess is smiling down on you tonight. You’re finally home.” Ben said.

The Moon Goddess. The one that werewolves pray to. They believe she created them. And they all believed in her. It was never a question of ‘if’ she existed. She just did.

I felt Ben grab the thin strap of my shirt and he let it fall off of my shoulder as he kissed the same area before I turned around and our lips met together as he put his arms around me.
