It was pretty simple but it was really beautiful at the same time.

I then put on the gold and diamond bracelet, matching necklace and earrings.

I put on my silver high heel pumps with a 3 inch heel that I needed to practice walking around in.

I was practicing to walk around my room when someone knocked on my door.

“Come in.” I sang out. So Maddy opened the door.

She had already gotten dressed and was ready for the party as well.

“Oh my god. You look gorgeous.” She said.

“You really think so? You don’t think it’s too much?” I asked.

“No way. It’s perfect. Everyone is going to be dressed up tonight and you are the guest of honor. You’re going to meet the whole pack tonight.” She said.

“Oh crap. What if they don’t like me?” I asked.

“You don’t really strike me as someone who gets that worried about someone liking you.” She said.

“Not usually. I guess I’m trying to make a good impression here.” I said.

“Don’t stress. They are going to love you. And if you see any bitchy girls giving you the stink eye, they’re just jealous. And they are only following the lead of one girl. They’re so-called best friend who used to date Ezra.” She said.

“Oh great. Now, I have to deal with another jealous bitch?” I asked.

“You’re going to meet them everywhere you go. Especially with the way you look.” She said.

“Alright. Are we decent in here?” Nathan asked, walking in while covering his eyes.

“We’re decent.” I said. So he lowered his hand and he stood there staring at me.

“Damn. Not bad.” He said.

“Gee thanks.” I said.

“You really do look beautiful.” Nathan said.

“Is it time to go?” I asked.

“6pm.” He said,

“Alright. Let’s go.” I said.

Nathan and Maddy had to help me down the stairs in this damn dress and my shoes. I couldn’t do it on my own and I was surprised I made it to the bottom without breaking my neck.

When we got to the backdoor, I saw the whole pack gathered around and my heart started racing,

There were so many more people in this pack than I thought.

Maddy went to join the people outside and there was an aisle that led to the arch where Ezra was.

It almost looked like a fucking wedding. I think that’s what was so nerve wracking. That this actually looked like a wedding.

Nathan helped me up the front while everyone was standing by watching and Ezra took my hand when I got to the

front.

“Relax. It’s only going to take a minute and then we’ll party.” He said,

“Yeah. Too bad I can’t get drunk.” I said.

“Oh yeah. I already forgot about that.” He said.

“I bet you did.” I said.

“Alright. Ladies and gentlemen. This is Morgan Jameson. She came to us looking for asylum and I believe that she will do everything that she can to uphold the respect and the dignity of our pack.” Ezra announced to the pack, before he turned to me.

Now, Morgan Jameson, do you accept our pack and our beliefs among all others and reject any pack that is not this one? Do you accept me, Alpha Ezra Dawson, as your Alpha? To obey me and follow me blindly without question?” Ezra asked, loud enough for everyone to hear.

“I, Morgan Jameson, reject all other pack and accept the Midnight Pack as my new pack and Alpha Ezra Dawson as my new Alpha and leader.” I announced.

Ezra’s canines protruded from his gums and he bit into his wrist and then brought it to my mouth, where I had to

drink his blood.

Suddenly I started getting shooting pains through my head. I grabbed the side of my head as the pain struck me over and over again.

I felt a warm arm around me and as the pain subsided, I realized that it was Ezra’s arm that was around me. Stopping me from falling.

“See. That wasn’t so bad.” He said. 1

“Speak for yourself.” I said, standing up properly.

“Ladies and gentlemen, our new pack member. Morgan Jameson.” Ezra announced and everyone applauded.

I looked out at thousands of people who were actually applauding me instead of wanting me dead. I guess I could get used to this.
