The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 102

Stella's almond eyes swept over the towering glass doors of the Channing Group.

"Why are they waiting at the door?" she asked coldly.

"We'll have to force our way in," Asher replied.

Stella raised an eyebrow. So, her people had been blocked outside?

Did Vincent actually think this would stop her?

After two days of this, did he still harbor such naive illusions?

A dark, menacing smile curved her lips.

She stepped forward, walking straight toward the entrance.

The moment Stella stepped out of the car, the head of security was stunned by the sheer weight of her presence.

Was this really their pathetic Third Miss who had married into the Sinclair family just to serve her in-laws?

But this...

Recalling Vincent's frantic phone orders, the head guard snapped back to reality with a shudder.

He hurried forward, his tone strict. "Ms. Channing, the Chairman gave explicit orders over the phone. You are not allowed to enter—"

Before he could finish his sentence, Stella paused. Without looking, she reached back toward Asher's waist.

Asher froze.

Feeling his holster empty, he instinctively looked down.

The cold steel that had been resting there was now in Stella's hand.

And the chilling muzzle was pressed directly against the forehead of the security guard who had dared to step in her way.

The air instantly stilled, thick with lethal danger.

"M-Ms. Channing, you..."

In a fraction of a second, the guard was trembling so violently he couldn't even form a coherent sentence.

Cold sweat poured uncontrollably down his face.

Stella tilted her head slightly, her voice sweet and gentle. "The Chairman said I'm not allowed to do what?"

Word by word, her softness was laced with a terrifying intimidation.

The guard acutely felt the lethal threat pressing against his skull.

He immediately took a step back. "N-nothing at all. Ms. Channing, p-please, come in."

He backed away, shivering from head to toe.

How could he possibly dare to stop her now? With the weapon in her hand, uttering the words 'not allowed' would guarantee he wouldn't live to take another breath.

Glancing at the terrified guard, Stella scoffed softly. She lowered her hand and tossed the weapon back to Asher behind her.

Without missing a beat, she strode directly into the building.
