The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 103

Stella sat there looking perfectly gentle, yet she exuded an overwhelming, suffocating pressure.

It was the kind of pressure that shattered a person's confidence into dust.

The panicked Finance Director immediately called Vincent.

Upon receiving the news, Vincent rushed to the company as fast as he could.

He arrived to find Stella sitting in the Finance Director's chair, while his original staff were corralled off to the side.

The entire department was thick with tension.

Asher leaned down and reported, "The seals and all required documents are right here."

Stella merely gave the items a passing glance. "Send someone to the bank. Freeze all Channing Group accounts."

Asher nodded. "Understood."

Noticing Vincent had arrived, a mocking smile touched Stella's lips. She articulated every word clearly: "No matter who it is, or what reason they have, no one is moving a single cent out of this company."

Vincent was completely stunned.

Stella continued, "If you find any irregularities, report them to the financial crimes division immediately."

At the mention of the financial crimes division, the color drained entirely from Vincent's face.

Over the past three years, the amount of unauthorized, shady spending in the Channing Group's books was innumerable.

The moment an official investigation started, everything would collapse.

Seeing Vincent turn ashen, Stella's smile deepened.

She thoroughly enjoyed watching all their arrogance from the last three years being crushed into the dirt.

Asher nodded sharply. "Got it."

"Hurry it up, I'm getting a little hungry."

Right now, she was the only one in the room who still had the appetite for a meal.

Her incredibly gentle tone was nothing short of a death sentence to Vincent.

It was like fire after blazing fire.

Vincent's heart pounded wildly. His only thought was that he absolutely could not let her take the company back.

He stormed into the finance office.

He roared at Stella, "I never agreed to let you take over the company. Even if you have no respect for me as your father, I am still the Chairman of the Channing Group!"

"What right do you have to run wild here?"

Damn it. Those useless security guards hadn't stopped her at all, just letting her barge in and do whatever she pleased.

Vincent was consumed by absolute fury.

He barked without an ounce of politeness, "Take your people and get out of this building. Right now!"

Stella looked up, meeting Vincent's gaze.
