How did she...? The rumors were actually true.
So all the massive problems the company had faced over the last two days were really her doing?
How was that even possible?
She was just a pathetic loser. How did she do it?
"Not going to talk?"
Stella's tone dipped into displeasure, clearly irritated that her time was being wasted.
She was in a hurry. She wanted to go home and have dinner with Sebastian.
She gave the stunned Danie a fleeting glance, decided she wasn't worth another second, and turned to walk away.
Seeing Stella leaving, Danie quickly blurted out, "Mr. Sinclair wants you to go to the office to get your money!"
She had finally found her voice.
Her tone had lost every ounce of its previous arrogance.
Stella's transformation was too extreme, and the fact that she had actually resorted to physical violence proved it.
Danie's cheeks were still burning with a fiery sting.
In the past, Stella had always been painfully respectful toward her, but now...
The more Danie thought about it, the angrier she felt.
Yet, feeling the suffocating, intimidating aura rolling off Stella, she didn't dare utter a word of protest.
At the mention of 'getting money', Stella halted.
She turned around, raising an eyebrow at Danie. "Getting money?"
"Yes."
"The five hundred million?"
Danie froze.
Her expression tightened. Honestly, she had no idea.
Lawrence had merely instructed her to bring Stella to the office to collect money; he never specified the amount.
However, the men Lawrence had been meeting with today looked incredibly dangerous.
Danie suspected that he wasn't really bringing Stella over just to hand her cash. As for what he was actually planning, she couldn't read Lawrence's mind.
Seeing Danie's silence, Stella withdrew her gaze and directly pulled out her phone to call Asher.
Asher answered almost instantly. "Ms. Channing."
