Vivienne and Eleanor stared at Stella, their pupils shrinking in shock before their entire bodies began to tremble with rage.
Vivienne was the first to find her voice. "Stella Channing! Do you have any idea what you are doing?"
She's insane. She has completely lost her mind.
Stella dusted off her hands casually. "If it doesn't taste good, don't eat it."
Having released a fraction of her burning anger, a gentle smile returned to her lips.
She cast a disdainful glance at the absolute wreckage on the floor.
Walking over to the living room, she sat down on the sofa as if nothing had happened, leaning back lazily.
She looked at Eleanor, whose face was twitching with uncontrollable fury. "What is going through your head? You actually sent someone to wake me up to cook for you?"
"Did you all just starve to death before I married into this family?"
Eleanor was already shaking with rage.
Now, the look in her eyes turned completely venomous.
Stella chuckled softly. "The fact that you still have the audacity to make these ridiculous demands tells me that Julian never mentioned my little ultimatum last night. Typical."
Trash will always be trash.
He didn't even have the spine to relay the message. What a pathetic, spineless loser.
Eleanor and Vivienne exchanged a horrified look.
Hearing the word 'ultimatum' made their faces turn a distinct shade of green.
Eleanor fought to control her temper. "Ultimatum?"
Yesterday, she had caused a massive scene demanding five million dollars, and now she was talking about an ultimatum?
What else was there to settle?
Vivienne's face was completely drained of color. She hadn't dared to tell anyone about the phone call with Stella last night.
Mostly because she hadn't believed Stella was actually serious!
Seeing Eleanor's confusion, Stella's eyes crinkled in amusement. She glanced at the emerald prayer beads wrapped around Eleanor's wrist. "The settlement for everything I've subsidized over the last three years, of course."
"Since none of you appreciate it anyway, I'll just be taking it all back!"
How much wealth had that ghost poured into the Sinclair family over the last three years?
And what had she gotten in return? Not a single drop of gratitude. She had thrown away her money and let them treat her like a workhorse.
Why on earth would Stella give them a shred of respect now?
Vivienne's breathing grew erratic. "Who... who gave you the nerve to act like this?"
