The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 72

Why hadn't she realized that keeping Stella trapped in the Sinclair family was the only way to avoid more trouble?

Hearing Vivienne's promise to deal with Stella made Julian's stance soften slightly.

"If she ever sets foot in this house again, I swear I'll make her life a living hell!"

"Whatever you want. She doesn't have anyone backing her up anymore anyway!"

Julian fell silent.

She was right. Stella had absolutely no one to support her.

So where did she get the nerve to nearly beat him to death these past two days?!

Could she really revert back to the psychotic woman she was three years ago?

Despite Stella's drastic change, Vivienne believed she still harbored some feelings for Julian.

Remembering something, she advised, "She's probably just throwing a fit over you and Ivy. Just coax her a little. Her heart will soften, and she'll come back."

They had been too careless today!

Pushed into a corner by Stella, they had acted on anger without thinking things through.

Hopefully, she was just jealous over Ivy...

And hopefully, she was smart enough to realize that without her parents and Sebastian Vance, the Sinclair family was her only refuge.

After all, returning to the Channings was out of the question!

Before Julian could respond, his phone buzzed with an incoming message.

He assumed it was from Ivy.

But when he checked the screen, it was a notification from the bank!

Reading the text, the color completely drained from his face...

"A message from Ivy?"

Vivienne's tone was full of displeasure at the mention of Ivy.

She used to adore the girl—she was sensible, sweet, and had a great relationship with Beatrice Channing.

She had even desperately wanted Julian to divorce Stella and marry Ivy instead!

But now...

Julian and Stella's messy fallout, along with the family's current crisis, was all because of Ivy getting between them. That previous affection had completely vanished!

"It's the bank."

Julian looked at Vivienne, feeling utterly suffocated. "Grandfather froze my cards!"

"What?" Vivienne gasped.

No, this couldn't be...!
